Arna Rennan will present a program on “Music of the Immigrants” at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Carlton County Historical Society museum in Cloquet.
Arna’s lifelong interest in Norwegian folk music began with first learning from her mother and later studying at the Institute of Folk Culture in Rauland, Telemark. While there, she gained an understanding of the ancient roots of traditional singing based on the overtone flute.
