Bauchi gov ll join APC soon, says Zulum – Punch Newspapers

Punch Newspapers Sections Armstrong Bakam, Bauchi BORNO State Governor, Babagana Zulum, on Thursday, announced that his Bauchi State counterpart, Bala Mohammed, would soon leave the Peoples Democratic Party to join the All Progressives Congress. Zulum said this while speaking during a groundbreaking for the reconstruction and upgrading of the Bauchi State Government House in Bauchi. Zulum, who is the Chairman of the North East Governors’ Forum, said, “I want to express my appreciation to my colleague, the governor of Bauchi State and my other colleagues, for giving me the support to take the North-East Governors’ (Forum) to a greater height and indeed to the next level.

Two APC lawmakers defect to PDP in Bauchi

Punch Newspapers Sections Armstrong Bakam, Bauchi Two members of the Bauchi State House of Assembly have dumped the All Progressives Congress for the Peoples Democratic Party in the state. This was disclosed by the Spokesperson for the Speaker of the Assembly, Abdul Burra, on the outcome of the plenary late Wednesday and made available to journalists in Bauchi. The members are Yusuf Bako, representing Pali Constituency and Umar Yakubu, representing Udubo Constituency. He said that the decision of the members to quit the APC was contained in a letter which was read by the Speaker, Abubakar Suleiman during plenary. He said Yakubu, in his letter, said he dumped the APC as from 2nd March, 2021.

Armstrong Bakam, Bauchi Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, will join the All Progressives Congress soon, the Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum, has stated. Zulum spoke when he led the North-East Governors to perform the groundbreaking ceremony for the reconstruction and upgrading of the Bauchi State Government House on Thursday. He, however, did not give further details on his statement about Mohammed joining the APC. Zulum who is the Chairman of the North-East Governors’ Forum said, “I want to express my appreciation to my colleague, the Governor of Bauchi State, and my other colleagues for giving me the support to take the North-East Governors’ Forum to a greater height and indeed to the next level.
