police say they are investigating an incident involving a stolen police cruiser. police set officers were following a car on 695 near washington boulevard. the suspect and an officer got into a physical altercation and the suspect took off in the cruiser. no one was injured. the suspect was arrested. the price at the pump could go even higher. the governor wants to raise the gas tax gradually over time. jennifer franciotti has the details. the price at the pump could go up by 21 cents over the next three years. gas has its own tax. he governor s plan would add that to the price of the p ump. that money would be used to fix roads and bridges. the governor would rather have the sales tax raised by a penny. without a consensus to raise the sales tax by a penny and decate that, the next best available option would be to repeal the current exemption on the sale of gasoline in the state of maryland and face in act 2% a year the current 6% exemption and have a break in their a

good evening. as you know, it s summer travel season. airline tickets are so expensive. and now a rebellion by passengers who say their pockets are being picked. major airlines are keeping a $200 million a week windfall from taxpayers. the last straw for travelers who are already paying fees for everything from bags to blankets and pillows. abc s aviation expert lisa stark set out to get answers. reporter: today at the airport, passengers were surprised to learn that airlines are gobbling up money they could have been saving on their tickets. it s not fair. and they should really do the right thing for their customers. reporter: here s what s going on. congressional bickering has partially shut down the faa. and since last friday, the agency has not been collecting a host of government taxes that are included in every ticket. but instead of passing that savings along, most airlines have raised fares and are pocketing the difference. what do you think about that? i don
