Leading to 495. The crash happened just north of this exit. The car that was it did not have any time to avoid that oncoming vehicle. It is hard to tell this was a vehicle. This is the burnt wreckage of the car that was struck by a wrong way driver in middleborough. Around midnight, state Police Responded to a fiery crash, a vehicle headed south in the northbound side of 495, slammed head on into another car, which burst into flames. There is no indication that time allowed for evasive action by the northbound Motor Vehicle operator to avoid the vehicle traveling the wrong way.
