each court sets their own kind of internal rules and guidance to their judges. and so, if you have a rocket docket, as its goal, meaning this is a courthouse that says, we re gonna do things quickly and in a hurry, then she also faces some of the scrutiny also by her own colleagues, around what she is doing, because we have a reputation, we try to keep that as a court because of the flow of all of our cases. and we want all of our judges to keep up with that flow. so that does keep with that internal, institutional, not rule, but culture and some pressure that she might feel for her reputation and standing. it s funny because in some ways, it s kind of how the whole system operates, right? when you talk about how these layers, right? there s three layers in federal court, there s the district, the appellate circuit court, and then the supreme court, that s it? right and part of how it works is that there is a sense of status and pride that you don t
