Apex Legends Most OP Character Is Getting Nerfed Soon

Apex Legends most over-powered character, or at least one of its more OP characters, is getting nerfed, and nerfed soon. How do we know? Because Respawn Entertainment has confirmed as much. In any character or hero-based competitive game, there are inevitably characters that are more viable and useful than others. In the current meta, most players would agree that Wraith and Caustic are the two most annoying characters to face off against. Unfortunately for those who main the latter, the big guy is getting nerfed.
Caustic has been a controversial character since Season 7. Before Season 7, Caustic was actually far from a meta-topping character, however, a string of buffs changed this, and while he s been tweaked since, it hasn t been enough according to some players.
Apex Legends Is Nerfing Horizon in Season 8

Apex Legends’ Season 7 competitor, Horizon, is getting a nerf in Season 8, but what that nerf looks like remains to be seen at the moment. Addressing some players’ comments about win rates and other common signs of Legends performing well, Respawn Entertainment has essentially confirmed that the Legend will indeed be nerfed next season. Season 8 of
Apex Legends is supposed to start some time in February, so it’ll be a few more weeks before we see whatever nerf is decided on implemented into the game.
Respawn Entertainment’s associate live balance designer John “JayBiebs” Larson replied to a post on Reddit where a user pointed out how Horizon had reached an impressive win rate. Horizon has supposedly surpassed Wraith as far as win rates go, though the user didn’t provide a source for that info.
Apex Legends Datamine Hints at New Game Mode

Apex Legends datamining effort has come through with new details about what could end up being a game mode players have long been asking for. The mode in question is a team deathmatch playlist – or at least something like it – that consists of small arenas and other settings that make it much different from a normal
Apex Legends match. Further details about this new game mode haven’t been revealed yet and certainly aren’t official, but it’s something players suspect may be released in the game’s next season.
