Apex Legends: Big Horizon Nerf Coming Soon
✖
Apex Legends has a big Season 8 update on the way, and it should as no surprise that players can expect to see several changes to the game as a result. One character that won t see a substantial change, however, is Horizon. Despite having the best win rate in the title, Horizon won t see much of a change in the Season 8 update. That said, big changes are still on the horizon for, er, Horizon, and a bigger nerf is on the way for the popular character.
In a thread on Reddit, poster Responsible-Screen53 asked the reasoning behind the decision, and was answered by Respawn Entertainment lead game designer Daniel Klein. According to Klein, the answer is really quite simple: the nerf for the character wasn t ready yet, and a bigger one is on the way.

Apex Legends: Long-Overdue Change Hinted as Coming Soon

Apex Legends has a checklist of issues that players have been asking developer Respawn Entertainment to fix and improve since launch. The developer moves at its own pace, however, and even a highly-requested tweak can take a long time to get fixed. For example, fans have been asking to have the option to change the optics on Golden Guns for a while, but alas, this option doesn t exist, but it looks like it may be in the works, or at least in the pipeline.
Word of the change comes the way of Twitter, and courtesy of producer Josh Media, whose reply to a tweet asking for the option seemingly suggests it s happening without outright confirming it s happening, and this is why the headline says hints at rather than confirms. Below, you can check out the interaction for yourself:
