The jury is back in a baltimore courtroom this noon deliberating the fate of officer william porter, one of Six Police Officers charged in the death of freddie gray. Sam sweeney is live outside the courtroom with the very latest. Sam . Sam deliberations began at a 30 this morning. By 9 00 they had their first request, they came out and asked for posted notes and highlighters. They resumed deliberations after the judge granted the request and then shortly after at 9 10 the defense came and filed a motion for a mistrial. Yesterday afternoon, students went home from Baltimore City Public Schools and were talking about not riding after the verdict comes out, to remain peaceful. The judge denied a request. At 11 00 the jury came out with another request. They wanted Computer Speakers so that they could play audio from the trial. The judge granted that. They are looking over all of their work. They

Reporter i cant get over how much like an action movie this entire scene today was when an alleged bank robbery known as the bicycle bandit was in the hospital behind me after police say he tried to kill High Pressure system in jail late last week. Kill himself in jail late last week. He overpowered two Security Guards, stole a gun and left the hospital in barefoot with nothing more than a hospital gown. He was shackled. Police were at a loss today to explain how 42yearold Wossen Assaye wrestled a gun from a private Security Guard and slipped out of the hospital unseen. I dont know exactly what restraints were on him at the time, but he was on the hospital gurney bed. Reporter investigators now believe assaye hid in the trunk of a womans car and popped up in her back seat as she drove through annandale. Picked up by police there after he got off a bus at 25th and pennsylvania avenue southeast. They dragged him. They got him in the back of the car, started taking his boots and stuff off and everything making sure he didnt have a weapon. It was unbelievable. It was like it wasnt real. Reporter it began around 3 00 this morning at the Inova Fairfax hospital. Assaye was on suicide watch. He had tried to take his life last week in jail. He was guarded by the u. S. Marshal service, a man and a woman. When the man went to the bathroom assay exjumped edassaye jumped the woman, escaped wearing only a hospital gown.
