Michael adler and i am the president of caner north constructers ink i have been part of it since 1978 not many weeks ago this developer approved by you 400 grove represents the best of and for San Francisco. The right size for the neighborhood and it is not a commodity structure. But one which has been thoughtfully and heartfully designed by ann and her team and developed and built by local folks who care about the community. This is perfect urban infill and i believe this project has shown a real commitment to providing not just housing but good design and architecture as well. Just addressing the cost of construction, 400 grove will generate approximately 10 million in labor economic benefit creating more than 125,000 person hours of work equivalent of keeping over 60 people occupied for a year. I believe that 400 grove is a necessary and welcome addition to the haze Valley Street scape and i urge you to commend this developer for the passion and commitment to the city and approve t
A bus behind. The second bus does not come up to the front. Oftentimes, it has caused me to be passed up by bosses, by trains, and again, it makes me late for appointments. It makes me late for my job. Im often anxious that im going to miss the bus that i need, simply because im not fast enough to scamper down and find out which bus is lined up behind the bus that is currently in front of me. What im going to work and i take the van ness street buses to work, sometimes, one of them will pull up right next to the other one. Not in a bus stop, but parallel to it. And i do not know it is there. I also do not feel comfortable walking out into the street. Is that my boss over there . I think that is my boss bus. Im going to miss it. I dont know how many times i have missed buses because of this. I do not double park. It is not safe for our customers, and especially the visually impaired. Anything could happen, and it is munis policy not to double park. Normally what i do, if i can safely go
[ applause ] if you have other ideas about things that we should be looking at, we want to hear them, and thats part of the purpose of this town hall discussion. Im interested in hearing your stories, getting your questions, and this will be a pretty informal affair. Well, as informal as it gets when the president comes and there are a bunch of cameras everywhere. So with that, id just like to start the discussion. And what im going to do is im just going to call on folks, just raise your hand. I would ask you to stand up, introduce yourself. There are people with mikes, and theyll bring the mike to you and im going to go girl, boy, girl, boy, to make sure that its fair. All right . So well start with this young lady right here in the striped top. Thank you. Its an honor to have you here today. Hold on a second. Here we go. Thank you. Its an honor to have you here today, mr. President. My name is nicole rohan from the Decker School of nursing here, which is an Outstanding School of nur
Move forward. That is appropriate when trying to come up with a proposal but i think an ongoing continuous task force, we have an awful lot of task forces in the city so i would agree thats not something i would support at this time. Supervisor elsbernd recommendation no. 2, adopt a realistic and consistent formula for estimating assumed expected return rate. I would actually agree with this and frankly i think we already do that. So i dont have an objection to this. Supervisor chiu neither do i. Supervisor elsbernd no. 3, San Francisco employees undertake investigation and failure analysis study of investment policy report and rcht to the members of the public. I think were already doing this and im more than happy to agree to it because its been done and will continue to be done. Supervisor chiu has been implemented. Supervisor elsbernd okay. Recommendation no. 4, investigate quantify and address all major risks in the portfolio and make this information public. Same response i agree
