Thousands of people are still waiting to vote. Theyve been in line for two to four hours. This is happening across l. A. County. This is from our nbc chopper down south. Its prompted the Bernie Sanders campaign to file for an emergency injunction to keep the polls open. Now, lets take a look at the results so far. This is where california stands. Causing long lines and delaying the whole process. So as we wait for california, lets take a look at the national map. The big winner tonight, joe biden. And then lets look at Bernie Sanders first. He won three states out of the 12 states have projected winners. Hes won utah, colorado, and his home state of vermont. And joe biden Just Announced in the past hour he has won texas. Hes also won other states, eight other states including minnesota, north carolina, virginia, and massachusetts, which is a big win because thats Elizabeth Warrens home state. Now, theres still a lot of delegates up for grabs. With texas just coming in, this is a big win for joe biden. There are 228 delegates up for grabs and hell get a good portion of that.
