On July 15, nine notable people from Manchesterâs illustrious past treated a large gathering of approximately 130 people to a rising from the dead with each of the nine telling their story to a very receptive audience.
The collaboration between the Manchester Historical Society (MHS), the Dellwood Cemetery Association and The Dorset Players brought to life a living glimpse into the lives of just a few people of Manchester who created the fabric of how Manchester developed as a town.

LISBON Robert Kastanek,36, North Madison Avenue, Salem, pleaded guilty in Common Pleas Court to a fifth-degree felony vandalism, a lesser-included offense to the fourth-degree felony vandalism charge he was originally facing. The charge was for damage to multi-directional surveillance cameras at the county jail on March 9. Sentencing is set for June 18, when he faces up to a year in prison and a $2,500 fine.
Nicole M. Hilton, 51, East Lincoln Way, Lisbon, was found to be suffering from severe mental illness at the time of her alleged actions, causing harm to Lt. Shar Daub of Lisbon police, which led to her being charged with assault, a fourth-degree felony. The matter is set for a further hearing on May 17 to determine if hospitalization is appropriate.
COLUMBIANA COUNTY JUVENILE
A 16-year-old boy was cited in juvenile court for allegedly violating the terms of his probation on Jan. 14 by choking his mother and striking her multiple times.
A 13-year-old girl was cited after allegedly striking an employee of the Tobin Attention Center multiple times while she was housed at the facility on Feb. 11.
A 16-year-old Wellsville girl was cited after leaving home Feb. 28 and failing to return home or let her parents or guardians know where she was.
A 16-year-old Perry Township girl was cited for allegedly striking her mother and for screaming at and shoving another family member on Feb. 22.
