This is what we saw for weeks in the north bay area. This morning, many questions remain on where communities go from here. A tough time for residents who lost it all. We are talking thousands of residents losing their homes, specifically right here in coffey park, one of the hardest hit areas of the north bay wildfires. We are getting some of that moisture coming through and a lot of it evaporates before its able to make its way to the ground. We are seeing a lot of green here on the radar, but dont expect to get very wet, at least not in the next couple of hours. This will help prime the atmosphere for some more activity moving in later on this afternoon. Were looking at most of sonoma and napa counties right now seeing some green here on the radar. You may also see it on the nbc bay area app. Once again, any of the rain were seeing so far has been really light. As we go through the day, well see the first push of moisture coming through. Mostly cloudy skies for most of the afternoon. Some heavier rain. This is the stuff that will be making it to the ground and measuring that rain as we head into this evening, starting in the north bay at 7 00.
