After George Floyds death became a new movement and discussion about race in this country. Today in the bays Cierra Johnson and how the bay area is celebrating. Good morning. Reporter good morning. It was 155 years ago today that a group of slaves in texas received the news they were, in fact, free and had been for two years. It was on that day juneteenth was born and today its being celebrated with a renewed passion and several bay area organizations are marking the day with some celebrations and we have some information on that for you. At 1 00 today there will be a march and a rally at San Francisco city hall. The event runs until 3 00. Participants are asked to practice social distancing.
