They shared the observations at the virtual dialogue titled, Relief Supports and Agricultural Incentives in Response to COVID-19 and ‘Amphan’: The Effectiveness of Public Service Delivery’ jointly organised by the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), the Oxfam in Bangladesh and European Union (EU). The speakers said that raising public awareness about technology-based initiatives related to relief services is critically important.

Cent percent people in flood affected districts get cash support: CPD 303 DHAKA, Dec 13, 2020 (BSS) – Around 80.6 percent people of the flood affected districts in this year got GR rice as food assistance while cent percent people of those flood affected districts received cash support, said a research of the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD). The research findings were revealed at a virtual dialogue titled “Relief Programme to face COVID-19, Flood and Agriculture Stimulus: Effectiveness of Government Services” held today organized jointly by the CPD, Oxfam in Bangladesh and European Union (EU). During the virtual dialogue, an initial evaluation report was highlighted featuring the relief programme to face COVID-19, Flood in the haor region including in Netrakona and the effectives of government services towards distributing agriculture stimulus.
