A few years ago, I was on the Gumball 3000 rally, going from Dublin to Bucharest. As I was observing the vehicles that were part of the race in the paddock area, a classic Mercedes-Benz got my attention as soon as the owner fired up the engine. After a closer inspection, there was an AMG power plant inside, and I was instantly hooked.

A huge chunk of its right front corner is missing, complete with the axle, and the left side doesn’t look that promising either. What’s more important is that the structure appears to have been significantly affected, so the whole project could be a bottomless pit. The interior is going to need some TLC too, so you may want to start looking for front and curtain airbags should it interest you.
