Perhaps the worst thing you can say about the GT is that, unlike its predecessor, it has no gullwing doors. Other than that, the people who drew it up seemingly found the perfect proportions between the classic models that served as inspiration and the design language that Mercedes was going for at the time.
Well, judging by what this rendering suggests, it looks like all that might not have been enough to give it the classic car status 27 years from now. Instead of sitting behind red velvet cordons in a museum, or in some private collection of a tech billionaire or whatever it is that makes people money in 2048 (clean air, maybe?) the Mercedes-AMG GT is pictured ready to take part either in a destruction derby or a junkyard racing competition.
For all intents and purposes, the C-Class is one of Mercedes-Benz’s most successful car families. Born back in the early 1990s as a replacement for the 190 (W201) baby Benz, the range grew so tall and wide it is literally impossible not to see one on the street, older or newer, every single day.

Being a Mercedes and all, the C-Class is not particularly affordable, but not prohibitively expensive either for a Benz. However, things change when one chooses the AMG version, as these things are sure to put a dent in anyone’s bank account.
SUVs are usually the go-to vehicles for the family man and woman, but some people still prefer wagons for their better handling. Very few of them further need ridiculous performance from their longroofs, and this is where Mercedes-AMG steps in with the E 63 S 4Matic+ in wagon attire.

There was something decidedly mesmerizing about the 2010 to 2015 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. Maybe it was the performance and design, but we suspect the uncanny gullwing connection to the legendary 300SL Gullwing is what worked for most of the fans. That said, has anyone seen the rather embarassing limbo and contortionist exhibition necessary to get on board the coupe? 56 photos
The coupe’s two doors look fantastic when open, but it’s not easy to get past the large door sills and, at the same time, beware of hitting the low gullwing doors. As such, and with the prospect of incoming summer trips, we see value in having the SLS AMG in roadster form.
For this feature, Mat Watson, the funny host of the carwow YouTube channel, hasn’t prepared any of his usual drag race or comparison shenanigans. But that doesn’t mean we’re not supposed to crank up the volume for this one. After all, he promises nothing less than a top with “the best sounding cars in the world!” But let’s be the judge if that holds true.
