We’re talking about the Duluth Playhouse. They’ll be performing a production of
Charlotte’s Web on stage at The Depot starting the last weekend of February.
Masks will become part of the costumes. The audience will be limited at 25 percent capacity and spaced out throughout the theater. And as you can imagine everybody at the playhouse is ready to finally perform in front of a live audience.
“Having that audience is such a big part of live theater. Actors on stage love seeing how the audience is going to react. Especially in the theater where we have a lot of first timers,” said Amber Burns, Artistic Director for the Duluth Playhouse Family Theater.

KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. Knox County parents are divided after the Board of Education s meeting Wednesday night. The chairman brought a proposal to change the school system s mask policy.
The current policy states masks are required in grades K-12, with a few exceptions. For example, student athletes aren t required to mask up in a game, but in choir and band they must mask up.

Playwright Caryl Churchill’s work premiered in London in 2012, and it contains dozens of plotlines and more than 100 characters. Pre-pandemic, it played on a stark, simple set. Now it comes to you within the neat boxes of Zoom. “Love and Information” is available for viewing at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 11-14.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. On the first day of the spring semester, some parents are confident in their decision to send kids back to the classroom, but others are having second thoughts.
Knox County Schools required those learning decisions be made eleven weeks ago, before the holiday spike in COVID-19 cases. Some think that was too soon.
Parents of 45,000 students sent their kids to learn in person Tuesday. The school district said around 5,000 made the switch from virtual to in-person from the fall semester.
