Peggy. That fire is knocked down now. A very stubborn fouralarm fire that took over an hour to contain. Much of the damage is on the backside, not the street side. And it spread extended into three buildings were told with minor damage to a fourth. That according to firefighters who say this could have easily spread to the entire block had it not been for the aggressive action of their crews. Firefighters say when they arrived to the fire on m mcallister, that residents had already made it out, that the fire started on the first floor rear of the corner building and extended into a light well where three buildings come together. One early estimate about eight to ten units damaged. Firefighters say this was a real challenge. It was really labor intensive. There was a lot of work to be done. You have each building we have at least three floors that we have to address. We have to have hose lines on each floor. We have a roof on each and we have to get ventilated. We have search and rescue
Reporter the Marin County Health Department Confirms two siblings contracted the virus while at disneyland. But because they werent at school during the time they were infectious, their unvaccinated schoolmates have not been asked to stay home. Im worried that were going to see more cases of measles. Im very concerned that a child will get very sick. Reporter pediatrician Nelson Branko has been swamped since yesterday, trying to make sure all of his patients are up to date with their vaccinations. He says what adds to his worry, the fact that marin county has the highest rate in the bay area of children who are not fully vaccinated because of their parents personal beliefs. 6. 5 of the County School kids fall into that category. Dr. Branko says some marin County Schools have clusters of unvaccinated children as high as 30 to 50 .
