The hand is mounted on an existing commercial robotic arm, and can perform a wide variety of tasks including using scissors, according to engineers from Ajou University in South Korea.

The Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange (KOFICE) has appointed former producer and professor Jung Gil-hwa as its president.

The event was also streamed online as social distancing guidelines restrict large gatherings.
