Of the 100 beds, there will be 10 ICU beds and 40 beds with piped oxygen and the remaining 50 beds will have oxygen concentrators, according to a statement issued by MoD officials in Bengaluru

BENGALURU: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has decided to establish a 100-bed COVID care facility at Air Force Station Jalahalli in Bengaluru.
The facility with the first 20 beds will be operational on May 6 with oxygen concentrators only. Once oxygen availability is ensured by the state government, the remaining 80 beds are expected to be operational by May 20.

Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], February 27 (ANI): As part of Swarnim Vijay Varsh celebration commemorating 50 years of the 1971 war triumph against Pakistan, the victory flame was received on Saturday at Air Force Station Jalahalli in Bengaluru.
The Victory Flame was lit by the Prime Minister in National War Memorial in New Delhi on December 16 last year.
As per an official release, the chief guest on the occasion former Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Fali Homi Major, presented souvenirs to the war heroes and their next of kin.

Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], January 15 (ANI): The annual TETTRA (Technical Type Training) conference was held in a hybrid format at Air Force Station Jalahalli in Bengaluru on Friday.
The conference was presided over by Air Marshal RD Mathur, Air Officer Commanding in Chief Training Command. Trophies were presented to the best TETTRA schools in three different categories viz- Fighter aircraft, Transport Aircraft, and Systems, according to an official release by Defence Wing.
