Narva Mayor: Narva will not relocate Soviet tank monument

Kargil victory flame reaches JAKLI center - Scoop News Jammu Kashmir

Srinagar, July 02 (Scoop News)- To commemorate the bravery and valour of Indian Armed Forces during OP VIJAY, ‘Kargil Victory Flame’ commenced its glorious run from Udhampur, HQ Northern Command on 17 Jun 2022 and received ceremoniously in a grand reception at Chuni Lal Dwar of the J&K Light Regimental Centre on 02 July 2022. The Victory Flame was then handed over to Kargil War Veterans who participated in OP VIJAY. Victory run which was organised with veterans and serving soldiers reached the ‘Kargil Point’, a memorial dedicated to the War Heroes and bravehearts of ‘OP VIJAY’. The Flame was then placed in the War Memorial of the Regimental centre for wreath laying by Veterans and serving soldiers with full military honours. The Victory run culminated at the Nongrum Auditorium, named after Capt KC Nongrum, MVC(P) of 12 JAK LI for his supreme sacrifice during capture of Point 4812 in Kargil War.
