But we begin with another tough day on wall street stocks hitting the skids as yields head south just adding to wall streets wall of worry wp Goldman Sachs, morgan stanley, ubs, bank of america all out with new notes raising the red flag on trade tensions hitting the market so what do we make of all this the sort of, i dont know, stuttering in the markets based on trade its interesting that youre getting some of the macro folks around the street starting to become a little more concerned when in fact i do think that weve seen bond yields telling us something very dramatic 164 we closed on the 10year dollar holding in. But i think the concern around the rest of the world truly that were seeing major contraction, a couple of pmis weve had over the last couple of weeks weve got regional fed surveys this week weve got a cpi number in the states which i do think the fed will be closely watching to at least give them something to follow through behind in terms of inflation or lack thereof gi
Supports the nonresident flexible pricing at these specialty gardens and coit tower, as well as the japanese teagarden. Weve been consistent in voicing our support at the r. P. D. Commission as well as the Commission Meeting on may 16. We believe adult nonresidents, flexible pricing will allow for more manageable traffic flow within the sites and in the surrounding neighborhoods. It also encourages attendance at nonpeak times that will result in a richer experience for all people who attend because there will be less congestion. We support the fee increase at japanese teagarden, the japanese teagarden is one of our historic gems and residents and visitors alike walk away stating that constantly. We fiscally sponsor two of the specialty gardens, japanese and the conservatory of flowers. The japanese teagarden is dedicated to raising funds for this renovation. We also feel flexible pricing and the maintenance fee will have long range effects and benefit the people that visit them. Thank
Yes. Thank you very much for your comments and reports. Item 6, proposed Commission Rules to provide an administrative appeal in certain disciplinary cases. Deputy City Attorney brad russi to provide an overview. Thank you very much. Welcome, mr. Russi. I know that the commission has information in their doc ketskets, with that, in terms of item six, do you wish to proceed . Sure. Good morning commissioners and good morning chief. We have two items that relate to disciplinary process. Ill talk about the first one first. In a lawsuit about a year and a half ago, the court of appeals found that with respect to a police case, that the citys disciplinary process laid out in the charter does not fully comply with state law. So for members of the Fire Department, there is an annalgus provision of state law that would apply, meaning there is provision for members of the Fi
Always, often, sympathize find that the five year moratorium is putting the burden in the wrong place. One thing i would look for in any further developments that we have is an aggressive pursuit of meaningful and strong remedies that will not overburden neighborhoods and communities but will get ads, especially, the proverbial bad actors that are doing things wrong. Next, systematically. We all look at trying to codify anything into 50 , 70 , or 25 of a facade, what constitutes demolition . We get something submitted to planning and it meets all of their criteria. If they have, you know, 50 is their standard and it comes in at 49. Low and behold us and as we go and open walls and see what is going on, boy, isnt this surprising . Despite all the things we thought about how dangerous and prone to problems the blind wa
