The 19th amendment which guarantees and protect womens constitutional right to vote was ratified on august 18, 1920. Hundredth anniversary of this historic milestone is to reflect on incredible efforts to secure womens Voting Rights. The president s report will be very brief. I want to congratulate all commissioners on Technology Skills and being able to get on the call and i want to thank the public for participating remotely. We are trying our best under these circumstances. I want to congratulate all staff and general manager for all of the work getting done during these challenging times, particularly in the broader sense of assisting the mayor and community in trying to solve the broader problems. They are also coming from distant countries where they have experienced hardships. They are older adult students. Many of my Child Development students work fulltime and full time and they also have spent years to get their degree so they can provide my name is janet. I teach ceramics. I think its time we took a magnifying glass to the way this administration spends money because we share your concerns about the money. We had and i think we need to go to the highest levels to look at this. So we are told students of color will be helped by these cuts, but we have been hearing that is not the case. When i look across my classroom, which is always full, i have 25 students in a small ceramics studio, and i turned away at least that many that wanted to take the class. I see a lot of black hair. I mostly see black hair when i look out across my classroom, and some grey hair. We are an ethnically Diverse College and we know it. Nobody needs to even prove that. We know that is true, and yet t

Good morning and happy new year. Is this mic on . So i feel like we just met because the holidays kind of sucked up much of december, so i dont have a huge amount to report. I was in washington dc the second week of december which was actually after we met last month. And i was there for the meetings and they are the National Association of area agencies on aging. The december meeting is when we put together the policy priorities for the next year. So we spent quite a bit of time working on that and the issues that came up were the ones that you would expect. Things like aging and homelessness, food insecurity, the big kind of big ticket items and basic needs issues that are kind of hitting older adults across the country. So i think everybody was really saying we are experiencing the same issues. There also continues
