Rangi Timothy s first attempt at knitting at the Timaru District Library in 2016. Each week avid and novice knitters get together at the district libraries to get as many squares knitted as possible, as well as completing them at home. Rangi Timothy, one of two male knitters at the Timaru session on Thursday, learnt to knit five years ago as part of therapy for his thoracic outlet syndrome which affected movement in his hands.
