The librarys sara duke talked to us about his influence and legacy and showed us many of his cartoons many on exhibit in the herblock gallery. He began his working career in 1929, six months before the Great Depression. He was a moderate conservative in his start, and he was radicalized not like leftleft, but it pushed him further toward the center, by the Great Depression and the injustice of world war ii.
