Harassment accused remanded in Karachi Investigation officer stated that Mairaj works in NADRA’s data entry department PHOTO: FILE KARACHI: A Karachi local court remanded on Tuesday a National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) employee accused of harassing a woman. Mairaj, an employee of the National Database and Registration Authority, was produced before the court. The investigation officer stated that Mairaj works in NADRA’s data entry department. The accused uses mobile numbers registered with the regulatory body to contact women and send illicit content to them, said the IO. Following which, the court sent Mairaj to jail on judicial remand and sought the case challan from the IO in two weeks.
