Supreme Court on Thursday reserved its judgment in a plea filed by 1993 Bombay blasts convict Abu Salem claiming his imprisonment cannot extend beyond 25 years as per the extradition treaty between India and Portugal.
The Centre has informed the Supreme Court that the plea by Abu Salem, stating that his imprisonment could not extend beyond 25 years as per the terms of an extradition treaty, was premature.
