Three people have been arrested in relation to the burning of a shop and the compound of a mosque in Naqara on Taveuni yesterday.
This, according to Acting Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu.
“There were two reports received which include the fi re incident at a shop in Naqara and outside the Macuata Muslim League Mosque,” he said.
“Both reports are under investigations and the Divisional Crime Officer North and a team of officers have been deployed to Taveuni to assist with the investigations.”

Meet Lavenia Palmer who sells pot plants with her friends beside the FNPF’s Downtown Boulevard building in Suva. Before being a horticulturist, Mrs Palmer worked at Courts Fiji Ltd for 33 years.
“I retired in 2010 and started work as a sales executive and worked my way up to manager’s position before I retired.
