President trump has continued to cast doubt on the results of the upcoming election in the United States telling reporters that hes not sure the vote can be honest. In the past 2a hours Senior Republicans distanced themselves from his reluctance to commit to a peaceful transfer of power if he loses in november. Mitch mcconnell, the republican leader in the senate, tweeted the winner of the november 3rd election will be inaugurated on january 20th. Well speaking a short while ago, the us president said he had good reasons to be sceptical about the result. We want to make sure that the election is honest and i dont know that it can be.
