New Delhi: Commenting for the first time on Republic TV editor Arnab Goswamiâs Whatsapp chats which indicated that he may have had prior knowledge of the 2019 Balakot airstrikes, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi joined the opposition chorus and demanded that a parliamentary committee enquire into the matter.Â

New Delhi: A day after former Congress president Rahul Gandhi attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his office for allegedly aiding the leak of sensitive national security information to pro-Hindutva television anchor Arnab Goswami, his party upped its ante. It demanded that âthe prime minister should come clean on these accusations immediately in order to restore the severely damaged credibility of the highest office of the country.â
The conversations reveal that the TRP numbers after former finance minister Arun Jaitley s untimely death were celebrated as big win by Republic TV founder Arnab Goswami.

Mumbai: In the ongoing investigation into the alleged manipulation of television rating points (TRP), the Mumbai police has submitted damning messages that were allegedly exchanged between Republic TV editor Arnab Goswami and Partho Dasgupta, the former chief executive officer (CEO) of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) discussing ways to âmanipulateâ the ratings.
