STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Qasim Mohmood has been living in Meiers Corners since 2005 and never had to worry about locking his car. Then, on Jan. 10, a pair of work trucks in his driveway were burglarized as part of a borough-wide pattern that has spread from the North to the South shores of Staten Island.
