The allegation of Sexual Assault by an fdny emt is being taken seriously. Weve confirmed that the emt in question and his partner have been taken off the street and placed on restrictive duty pending the outcome of an investigative probe. She claims last saturday the fdny emt crew responded to her bedstuy apartment after her family called 911 when she started having a partial seizure. When one of the two medics stepped out of the back of the ambulance, she alleges the other medic sexually assaulted her. As soon as that man closed the door, he pulls my blouse up some. Then he takes his hand, takes his right hand and put his hand down in my panties and stuck his finger in my private area. I saw everything he did. I heard him when he name twice. You were well aware of what was going on. I was well aware of what was going on. The woman has a history of what is medically referred to as simple or partial seizures where one does not lose consciousness. They can be fully aware of whats going on but theyre unable to speak. Amtrak is releasing some of its plans for transporting people to and from the massive events surrounding the popes visit in september. Many of the big changes focus on the philadelphia leg of the popes visit. From friday september 25th to monday september 28th, reservations will be required on all asela northeast regional and keystone trains. Amtrak will be adding extra trains for that saturday and sunday. The demand is expected to be so great that amtrak is saying it will use some equipment from its partners and will suspend any maintenance activities. Its awesome to be part of the history of Ranger School. Haver is a 25yearold star athlete and an attack helicopter pilot. Griest is a west point alumna, a competitive Cross Country runner from connecticut and a military police officer. Knowing that you have to uphold that legacy every day, you cant really have an offday. You cant be tired. You need to go the extra mile. The two trailblazers completed the punishing 9 week course by powering through mountains, swamps and rivers carrying 50 pounds of gear enduring all the same standards as the men. I was thinking really of future generations of women that i would like them to have that opportunity. At each event we succeeded in we kind of were winning hearts and minds as we went. Making history they say was not their focus and their determination not only earned them the right to wear the Army Ranger Tab but the respect of their male counter parts. For now women cannot serve as rangers just yet. That decision and which combat roles women will be taking on are expected to be made by the end of this year. A new study is raising questions about the effectiveness of early Breast Cancer interventions. As many as 60,000 women each year are diagnosed with stage zero Breast Cancer, a precursor to what could be a deadly tumor.
