Vitale bids farewell to Madison Borough Council

MADISON – The Borough Council meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 15, marked the last for Council President Carmela Vitale.
A special meeting recognizing Vitale’s service will be held at noon on Saturday, Jan. 2 on Zoom.
Councilwoman Vitale is lifelong Madison resident and business owner and a five-term member of the Borough Council. She works as a Realtor. This is her last, three-year term, which began in January of 2018. She lives on Myrtle Avenue with her husband Sal.
A Democrat, she is the current Borough Council President and the council’s liaison for the Finance Department and the Borough Clerk,. She did not seek another term on the council last month.
