MADISON – The Borough Council meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 15, marked the last for Council President Carmela Vitale.
A special meeting recognizing Vitale’s service will be held at noon on Saturday, Jan. 2 on Zoom.
Councilwoman Vitale is lifelong Madison resident and business owner and a five-term member of the Borough Council. She works as a Realtor. This is her last, three-year term, which began in January of 2018. She lives on Myrtle Avenue with her husband Sal.
A Democrat, she is the current Borough Council President and the council’s liaison for the Finance Department and the Borough Clerk,. She did not seek another term on the council last month. ....
