Two new Spring Hill sidewalk projects identified for 2021-2022

At least two new projects could be added to the Spring Hill Neighborhood Sidewalk and Greenway Plan as part of the Board of Mayor and Aldermen's upcoming 2021-2022 fiscal budget.
Spring Hill Senior Project Manager Missy Stahl presented the proposed projects on Monday during BOMA's non-voting work session. The projects include pathways to be installed at the Winter Park and Spring Meadow subdivisions, which would cost approximately $158,900.
The projects are also staff-identified items, meaning the funding wouldn't require any additional revenue spending from the neighborhoods' Home Owners Association. Although the final numbers slightly exceed the city's $150,000 sidewalk project budget, Stahl said the city's Transportation Advisory Committee recommends it be increased to cover the full $158,900 amount.
