A Law Enforcement official says he sent that infamous video to n. F. L. Security chief Jeffrey Miller at the lesague headquarters in april. Miller claims he never saw it. The official said he mailed it anonymously with a note attached saying ray rice elevator video. You have to see it. Its terrible. The official says he provided a disposable cell phone and asked for confirmation that it was received. Miller issued a statement yesterday denying he ever received the video and did not see it until it was made public. Just last week n. F. L. Commissioner Roger Goodell reiterated no one at the n. F. L. Saw the video before tmz released it. That official said he wanted to make sure the n. F. L. Had the video before deciding on rices punishment but at this time he has no plans to talk to the n. F. No longer need to detour to route 7. Lanes are open for you on the toll road with nice light volume on the virginia beltway. Right now between tysons and the legion bridge. Maryland got a problem out of your way, too. That was northbound 210, the crash at palmer road. Not too serious even though a pedestrian was struck. Theyve reopened the roadway 210 coming out of Fort Washington. Lanes are open toward the beltway. Thats good news. Thanks action beverly. Police and protesters in ferguson, missouri engaged in an uneasy standoff overnight, this after the police chief attempted to march with the protesters. The problems unfolded right in front of the Police Headquarters after authorities had to arrest some people. Earlier in the day the Ferguson Police chief tom jackson came out and talked to the citizens and apologized for the departments actions following Michael Browns shooting. Yet this still ended up happening and people got arrested. He says he has no plans to step down as chief. Theres a new report out about a deadly officerinvolved shooting that reveals a purcelville Police Officer was indeed justified in using deadly force on a teenager. Earlier this year officer timothy hood fatally shot 17 yearold christian sierra. The report finds that hood ordered sierra to drop a knife during a suicide attempt. The teen instead charged the officer with that knife. When the officer fired. U. S. Health care costs are some of the highest in the world and even if you have insurance, you can still get stuck with some pretty hefty bills. The humidity is going to be low as well. When we have the summer like temperature in the forecast, were always concerned about the humidity. That is not a concern for you this weekend. It is just going to be beautiful out there with the High Pressure in control and high temperatures in the 80s. And on our wide view of satellite and radar, we have the two weather features that have been a part of our forecast for the past couple of days. Area of low pressure that brought all that Early Morning heavy rain yesterday is now up into new england and the winds on the back side of that storm system have moved away from us as well. Remember, it got a little dusty gusty from time to time yesterday. That is out of the picture now. This sprawling area of High Pressure is huge. Its covering basically about a third of the country. Thats going to continue to slowly drift our way as we head through the next couple of days and that will lead to some really, really wonderful weekend weather for us. Thank you, beverly. The suspect in the disappearance of Hannah Graham is being held without bond in texas but the Charlottesville Police say theyre not giving up hope in their search for hannah. She has been missing for nearly two weeks. A big break came in the case on wednesday when police in texas arrested jesse matthew, the main suspect in the case. Now we are learning that matthew was accused of rape when he was a college student. Vanessa herring joins us live now with the latest on what we know. Reporter matthew was actually kicked out of Liberty University in 2003 because of that allegation. Police say it all boiled down to an issue of consent with matthew and the woman disagreeing. In the end the woman decided not to pursue charges. Matthew appeared handcuffed and in a jail jumpsuit before a texas june and waived his right to fight extradition back to virginia yesterday. He had been on the run for nearly a week before police took him into custody. They believe matthew had been camping on a beach near galveston, texas for some time. Police say matthew is the last person seen with 18yearold Hannah Graham in Surveillance Video from the night she disappeared. Matthew was charged with abduction with intent to defile after police removed clothing from his car and home during a search. The car he was driving in texas has been impounded but it has not been searched just yet. Its in the bay right now. Anybody would know if there was a certain odor. I had hoped, i think hannahs mom and dad have hope. We all know though as each day goes by that hope will diminish. Reporter the search for Hannah Graham is of course continuing with a 100,000 reward being offered for any information on where she may be. Officials have warned home owntories pack up and owners to pack up for half a year.
