the south. and out to the west you'll find a mixed bag. it's cool in many parts of the country. now i said milder air down to the south, but temperatures are similar there. 45-degrees in atlanta. new orleans is 56. and out to the west where they've been cold, 38 in denver. that's actually a nice warmup from where they were friday morning at this time. here is a look at national satellite radar. now a couple of things. first of all, not a whole lot in the way of cloud cover. most of the cloud cover is either along the eastern seaboard, including here in d.c. or from the great lakes become into the northern plains. we are seeing some rainfall now across portions of the plains, including nebraska and into the chicagoland area. for us, we have a couple sprinkles here and there off to the south and east primarily centered around the chesapeake day. lot of clouds today. 58 degrees for the high. tomorrow 62 degrees. becoming breezy. a slight chance for a shower or two as a cold front comes through. that front will eventually drop our temperatures down. we'll see a lot of 30s around here tuesday night and into wednesday and then wednesday night into thursday. cool temperatures wednesday, thursday and friday. that's a look at the weather. we'll have more coming up in just a little bit. let's check in with julie wright with traffic. >> the pace is still slow as you travel southbound along 29 leaving stewart lane toward 650 new hampshire avenue. now top side of the beltway, outer loop, past university boulevard and toward 29. as you make your way around the curve, we do have reports of a stalled car tieing up the second lane to the left. the pace improves toward 270. if you're traveling in the district, inbound new york avenue past florida avenue and toward the third street tunnel no. problem leaving northeast to northwest. the pace is good here. you will find traffic slowing on 295 inbound across the 11th street bridge. south capital street slows on the ramp to the freeway. out of newington, all lanes are open but hitting the breaks at king street. northbound 395, incident ther with a car and a horse trailer. the two have become unhitched but the activity is to the shoulder which is causing brief rubbernecking delays. that's a check of your fox 5 on- time traffic. white house insiders say the country is on track for millions of new jobs by the end of the year. that confidence spurred by a report saying 650,000 jobs have already been retained or created due to the administration's economic stimulus plan. the question becomes is that optimism justified and is that showing we are back on firm ground. joining us now sarah murray with more on this. thanks for joining us. >> hanks for having me. >> so is this a true number, the 650,000? >> well it's talking about jobs created so that's a better indication than talking about jobs saved. it is not saying this is how many jobs we created by this construction plan and it's harder to say this is how many people who were laid off. >> that's tricky because that's the reasoning a lot of people say, well if we didn't do this it would have been worse and we could have lost more jobs. how hard is it to try to understand all of that in a legitimate way. >> it's very difficult and that's part of the reason we're seeing the conflicting reports coming out about whether the numbers are true and people saying they created twice as many jobs as they have. so i think the administration's is how do you actually measure the number in an affective and fairway. >> another question is that how much of this is actually paying off financially, will the stimulus pkage pay for itself? >> i don't think anyone has the answer to that. i know if you ask the obama administration they would say yes because the economy 3.5% in the third quarter so it's sort of starting to look like we're pulling out the woods but the unemployment rate is at 9% and we're expecting had to hit 9.8% when the report comes out on friday. so people are still feeling the pain. >> and not to mention the pain with the market activity not showing it's ready to push through. we hit 10,000 on the dow and things were sarting to look good but then friday everything fell apart. >> exactly. and the thing is that businesses are still really cautious right now. we had a story in the wall street journal about how their sitting on this mountain of cash and so it's not like they don't have the money to spend but they're not convinced we're in a sustainable recovery and you need to have that sort of confidence and optimism if you're going to start hiring people again. >> what do you think will be the catalyst to push us into the right discretion? >> it's really difficult to say. i think you'll have to still see improvements in a lot of the other indicator measures that we're looking at. manufacturing reports and home sales are coming out today so they'll have to see that people are continuing to purchase goods without the stimulus package, without things like cash for clunkers and see people are still buying homes, even when the $8,000 tax credit expires and if people see underlying demand outside of the stimulus packages they'll get more confident. >> let's talk about the job outlook because we mentioned despite the news that is coming out, we're still losing thousands of jobs. s is seasonal -- it's seasonal time, will we see some jobs. >> there are still some signs of people adding temporary workers. ups is planning on highing 50,000 temporary workers. that's a smaller number than in 2007 so i think that might be the kind of thing you'll see. people are still adding temporary workers for the holidays but fewer because they don't know if people will shop the way they used to. >> we seem to have so much discussion about whether these are true numbers out there or not. is there any real way to measure what is going on out there? >> there are a lot of different ways to measure, which i think you're getting at. we have reports coming out every day telling what is going on. but those reports aren't always indicative of what main street is feeling. at the end of the day, the thing that matters is the unemployment rept. if you lose your job, you're not spending money and if you think you're going to lose your job, you won't spend money. >> and the expectation. >> we're expected to lose another 150,000 jobs. >> thank you for joining us. allison, back to you. the push for same-sex marriage in the district gets a lot of attention today. and the phillies and yankees clash for the title, we are and bob mcdonnell will both make stops in northern virginia today, but is the lead mcdonnell has too hard for deeds. joining us today, the press secretary for the democrat national committee. harry, good morning. we're seeing double-digit lead in poll numbers for bob mcdonnell. in your estimation, why are we seeing such strong numbers coming out for republicans? >> i think historically we've seen that commonwealth has not voted the same way as the year before in the presidential election, but i think he numbers will get closer, our get out the vote operation is very strong in virginia and we're creating enthusiasm. the president was down last week and i think folks are starting to tune in and tune in late but they're getting there but i think we'll see strong turnout and it will be closer than people think. >> speaking of president obama being with creigh deeds this was something that we saw maybe a little later than some thought might be wise. but we did see the president coming out for deeds. do you think that this is going to help for the last-minute push or might this hurt a bit in the state of virginia? >> well i think the president's incredibly popular in virginia, as he is throughout the country. and so certainly i thinit will help. i think we've seen creigh deeds embrace the president and especially in the last few weeks and i think we're going to generate that sort of enthusiasm that we need on election day. but certainly i think folks in virginia and throughout the rest of the country still have a great deal of fondness for the president and still believe in his agenda for change and they're seeing that play out in washington and i think that will translate here in virginia and new jersey and up in new york 23 where we have another very close election. >> want to talk about that too. let me ask you though, mr. deeds was here last week and said that hey, i like being the underdog, i never win or -- i usually come from behind to win. how much of that is putting on a brave face for the folks that are supporting him and how much is that true? how much do the poll numbers count? >> as we know, virginia hasn't gone the same way as the presidential election in over a quarter of a century so certainly we knew we would be an underdog coming into this. bob mcdonnell has won statewide already and has a lot of recognition and national republicans are pouring money into this race. with that said, we know creigh deeds is offering a viable, real transportation plan, is offering a common sense solution that will move the state forward in a pragmatic way while bob mcdonnell has offered a different way that is more based on idealology. so we think we'll do very well in new jersey and new york as well. >> bob mcdonnell hit on that word nobody wants to hear right now, taxes and it sort of reverb rated with the voters, many of them hurting because of where our economy is. how smart of that was -- was that of a move in your opinion for mcdonnell to do. he targeted on creigh deeds saying i'm going to be realistic, we might have to raise taxes to get this through. >> and we know there is a major transportation proem here in virginia and throughout the state. and what the washington post has said and others have said is that we need a real plan, creigh deeds is offering a real plan, that is sensible and leaves option on the table. bob mcdonnell is offering what we see a lot of election years which is saying one thing and that isn't necessarily realistic and won't necessarily translate in nonelection years. and we can't afford any more of that and i think creigh deeds is offering a realistic solution. >> let's talk about the other races. it's tight between corzine and christie and then drama in upstate new york when the republican drops ott of the race and throws her support behind her former challenger who happens to be a democrat. why do you think it's close in new jersey? >> again in new jersey we have a very competitive environment. any incumbent governor, whether it's senator corzine or the democrat party here in virginia is going to face a tough time in a recession. that said, governor corzine has a record of achievement in new jersey and he's moving the state forward and i think he's in a very strong position going into election day. up in new york what we've seen is in a district that hasn't voted for a democratic congressman since benjamin harrison was president in the late 18 hundreds and has 45,000 republican voter registration edge, the democratic candidate is still a very viable strong position going into election day and i think th says something about the relative health of the republican party. on wednesday when we wake up wednesday morning, it will be one year since the election of 2008 and that entire year the republican party continues to do all of this soul searching whether they will be the party of the right or a more central pragmatic party and we're seeing the idealogical end of the republican party, sarah palin, glenn beck, they are winning out. that's what we're seeing take place up in new jersey, that's what we're seeing take place up in new york. >> thank you so much. dnc national press secretary. michael steel will join us and we'll ask him about that. thank you for joining us. >> thank you. time is coming up on 7:40. halloween is over. time to reporter: now is he the oldest or youngest. >> he had six siblings and he was the oldest. and he had one sister just passed away back in 1990 but he did have six siblings. but a lot of them died at child birth. >> reporter: much more difficult at that time. but how things are set up here, we came from a relatively good family. >> it was middle class. his mother was a cook in a saloon. >> reporter: and when did he take up baseball? >> when he went to st. mary's industrial school in baltimore city. >> reporter: and was a fan from the time he started? >> his brothers said he was. he was a pitcher and a catcher. this was restored in 1974 and opened to the public and this part was added in the 1970s and the museum is made up of four rowhouses and the one we left was the rowhouse he was born in. >> reporter: and we make our way into this area because babe ruth is known at the home run king and these are literally all of his home runs. >> he had 114 home runs and we mark each one of those with a picture, the date and the ballpark it as hit at. >> reporter: that's amazing. >> a lot of home runs. >> reporter: you might think greg and i are taking a mine class or about to hold something special which is -- >> a babe ruth bat. it was used back in 1927, the year he hit the 60 home runs. >> reporter: i guess i was expecting it to be heavier. >> well the average player today uses around a 32-ounce back so this is 10 ounces heavier than what they use today. >> reporter: he was a big guy. >> but he preferred a bigger bat as well. >> reporter: was there anything especially about his ing. >> he swung through. his eye coordination was documented many times and they hooked him up and they watched his eye coordination and he had great eye and motor skills coordination. >> reporter: how rare is it to have a babe ruth bat? >> well we have three different ones and this one came from the family. his wife and sister were still alive when the museum opened up and this was donated from the ruth family. >> reporter: and when we were standing over there, he was the original member of the 500 home run club. >> he was the run that started it. >> reporter: no asterisks by him. >> of course not. >> reporter: they were the real deal in terms of home runs. what do you think babe ruth would think of baseball today? >> he loved baseball. he enjoyed going out there and playing every day. it wasn't a job. he was having a great time. he loved the fans and the kids and liked being surrounded by the fans. >> reporter: what do you think about the new yankee stadium? >> he would probably like it. it looks like the old yankee stadium that he played in for him. >> reporter: a new challenge for him. >> and a bright field for him too. >> reporter: and you went up to the game last night? >> i was working a game. i went up to philadelphia. it was a good game. they went back and forth and phillies tied it up in the 8th and the yankees won. >> reporter: enough about the baseball. what i really want to talk about in the next hour is because greg had a cheese steak. so philly don't phillyed just yet. we'll have someone who will make us authentic philly cheese steaks. we'll see a lot of clouds today. currently reagan national, the temperature is 51 degrees as we go to the graphics. 51 degrees. relative humidity at 61%. winds out of the north at 9 miles per hour. your forecast foroday, a lot of clouds around. some more sunshine i think out to the west. cool temperatures though, high today only in the upper 50s. however out to the west, you could see 60-61 degrees or so because you'll get more sunshine there. we'll have more details on the forecast coming up in just a little bit. >> tony, thanks. >> let's turn to julie wright with a look at traffic on and vote. and sarah simmons is live in alexandria where one of the candidates is already campaigning there this morning. airplan -- sarah good morning. >> reporter: bob mcdonnell is at a campaign rally that got under way 15 minutes ago here in alexandria at his headquarters here in alexandria any way. both candidates are in a whirlwind tour, a last-minute statewide push to get out the vote. when you look at the latest poll numbers you can see that republican bob mcdonnell is in a 12 point lead right now over democrat creigh deeds. now this is a slight increase from just last week when bob mcdonnell had an 11 point lead in the polls over deeds last week. both of them though are going to be appearing here in alexandria. as i said, mcdonnell appearing right now at a rally. he will also go through prince william county and end in virginia beach later on today and then creigh deeds, he will be out in alexandria, market square, at about 7:00 tonight with current governor tim kaine. he's also making stops in roanoke, charlottesville and richmond, virginia. both candidates spoke yesterday say talk -- talking about the last-minute push for a win. >> you can work hard for months and months, but it comes dwn to the get out for the vote record. >> we're working as hard as we can to reach out to new and old voters. >> reporter: and a lot of people are engaged in watching this race not just here in virginia but across the country. many people are looking at this as the possible litmus for the 2010 races and a possible factor f how the country believes president obama is doing in office. steve and allison, back to you. >> sarah, thank you. and virginia is not the only state with key elections that could have an impact on the national political scene. tight governor races in new jersey where john corzine is facing off against a democrat and independent candidate. and in new york a candidate dropped out of the race and endorsed her opponent. keep it here for complete coverage with the virginia race and the attorney general and house of delegates and other races. polls up in virginia at 6:00 a.m. and in maryland the polls open up at 7:00 a.m. we are back in new york city as the uss new york has stop add long side the world trade center site and we're expecting a 21 gun salute any moment. this is the new ship which was built with tons of steel from the when this is commissioned. but it arrives in new york this morning. folk there's in new york are going to be able to welcome her. they were giving tours today as she continues to honor those who lost their lives on 9/11 and then she'll leave new york on november 12th and then it's time to get to work. again the ship sailed up from virginia. >> thank you so much, steve. a look at morning's other top stories. a halloween 'party turned into a crime scene in howard county. someone opens fire on a home in clarksville. about hundred people were at the home. bullets hit aaron brice in the driveway and his father said he was looking forward to this party after a long workweek. >> he was working hard as a giant food store as a career, preparing himself to go to college in january, going into criminal justice. >> howard county police say the homeowner rented out the house for a party. and in june police arrived at that house after a party broke out there. a university of maryland woman was raped when she was sleeping and a man assaulted her. she screamed and he ran off. no arrest have been made. he was expected to have a great procareer but two days after being drafted by the celtics in 1986, he was dead. >> now a new documentary looked back at the life of len bias. we'll talk to the director. stay with us. it is hard to believe that it has been more than 20 years since the tragic death of len bias. just two days after being selected by the celtics in the 1986 draft, he was gone after what should have been the start of a huge career. a documentary called without bias is being featured in an espn film series and kurt frazier joins us. first of all, congratulations as being directed as one of the 30 top directors on espn. tell us how that came together. >> actually my production ani went out of sun dance and the film wasn't completed at the moment. but we took advantage of the opportunity to campaign the area and to create a serious buzz about the film and we actually just had a couple of meetings with executives and we sat down and they explained to me that they were doing like a 30 for 30 series, like 30 top directors and they've been following my work for a while and they would like this to be a part of it. >> and you're in some pretty good company for having their work shown on espn. we'll talk about this later. it will be shown tomorrow night so folks can watch tomorrow night. talk about the documentary itself. why did you put it together the way you did. >> growing up i remember the actual story and i remember the impact it had on my community and the impact it had on me personally. his death to me was something that no one really expected or even knewhat had transpired and i actually wanted to tell the story of who len bias was and what took place in his life. >> do you think that -- i think anybody around here at the time or a sports fan at the time seemed to have the same question, and maybe this is why it has lived up to what it has today. is it simply the question of never knowing what the potential could have been? >> i mean the greatest story for len bias is he was a sure thing. and the what-if falls into place, where he played against michael jordan as well and they were great rivalries in college and even michael jordan will say personally, his greatest rivalry in college was len bias but never had nim in the pros so it became the greatest what- if. if he would have had six rings? >> so many people wondering what the potential could have been. and also because of how this happened, it opened eyes. before we talk about that, i want to show a little bit from the documentary. let's take a look and what we're seeing here is part of the reaction as to what happened on that morning of june 19th, 1986. [ inaudible ] >> i seen him lean over on the bed and then lay back on the bed. the changed in the room. it blew everybody's enjoyment and it blew everybody's celebration and now all of the energy and attention started transforming into a tragedy, it stted ansforming into len bias what, is going on. what is wrong with him? why is he having seizures? and the energy and the mood and the tone changed. i mean just swiftly. >> atome point i wanted help and the person i could think of was my mother because my sister who had seizures and i figures there was some connection there. there is this healthy, strong len bias an worked -- we worked out together. >> and i think that's the most important thing. hlthy and strong len bias. >> yes. and also the individuals that knew him and also everyone that was playing with len bias at the moment, when len bias actually died, they were scrutinized by opportunities of playing notice nba because they -- the nba and also other entities looked at everyone that played with him as though they were problem kids as well and the ripple affects and drug laws that came into affect also. >> which was huge. if you had to tell people that weren't around 23 years ago why they should watch this tomorrow night, what uld you tell them? >> this is the greatest what-if story. and if you actually look at the situation with michael jordan and having six rings, if len bias played in the nba, would that story actually occur? >> or how many would len bias have? we don't know what would happen. and that's probably what it is. kurt frazier, congratulations. maybe more down the road. >> we're in the production of the motion picture as well. that's slated for two years from now. >> just the beginning. >> exactly. >> congratulations. if you want to check it out for yourself it's part of the 30 of the 30 series from espn. we'll send it over now to allison and tony. >> thanks, steve. >> i can't wait to watch it. i remember that morning as well. shocking. absolutely shocking. we'll change the tenure now. before we get to the weather, we want to show you the my first 5 photo of the day. this will cheer you up. >> is this young you? >> it could be. his name is anthony. he's dressed for his first halloween. tigger. absolutely adorable. i bet he had a good halloween. we appreciate that. to send us your child's picture, go to myfoxdc.com and click on the satellite radar for the nation. a couple of things going on. the lower two-thirds of the nation for the most part cloud- free. we have clouds across the eastern seaboard, including over the washington skies. out to our west, we have clearing conditions. western maryland, west virginia, places like that, things look good out there. there are more clouds pushing in from the great lakes region and plains where we see some rain falling as well so we'll keep our eyes open for that. forecast for today and the next five days. high today of about 58 degrees. tomorrow more sunshine than we'll see today, 62-degrees. wednesday, thursday, friday partly sunny skies but cooler temperatures, highs only in the 50s. overnight lows in the 30s. that's a look at the weather. now let's get n update on traffic with julie wright. tony, taking the trip south along 270 as you approach the lane divide in that six-lane stretch we're receiving word of an accident. so south of montrose but before you reach old georgetown toward the inner loop of the beltway, accident activity reported just south of this curve. and we see that traffic remains slow in the main line ' s try to work over to old georgetown road and again that's where the accident activity is reported. h.o.v. lanes no problem to report. and on to the southbound spur toward democracy boulevard, all lanes are open. 395 slows on this morning. how is it looking sofar this year? >> well it's looking good for deals right now. people are -- retailers are scrambling to do whatever they can to get people to shop and get people to buy. >> so is it that time whether we're ready for it or not. we have mentioned at the end of last week, we said it's not even halloween but they're starting season deals at the store. is that the point to get people out earlier to try to spend when we have the money? >> typically holiday sales starts right after halloween and into november and december. and you really start seeing the big shopping periods around thanksgiving up to christmas. >> you compiled a whole lift of ways to help out our viewers in ways to get through this holiday season. let's go through a fewof those. you're saying make a budget. how should we go about doing it? >> you need to take a few moments to make a budget and the sooner the better. back in august, we'll get to this, christmas gift card programs started up back in august and people should start making their budgets and set a spending limit or ceiling cap on how much to spend. >> if we wait until the last minute, we'll hurt ourselves as far as how much we'll end up spending. and you're talking about using things like christmas clubs and layaways and these things were around a long time ago but now they're coming back. >> and toy r us is a good example. they started a layaway program in mid-october and it's the big gift layaway program. and you can put products like bikes and out door recreation equipment, cribs, baby carriages on layaway and it's working out way. >> is there an advantage to that? because last year we saw cases where the supply was not as much in years past because they didn't expect to sell as much. so is this layaway something we can use now if we find something out there. >> oh, absolute. >> and put it on layaway? >> exactly. and it's very popular. not only at toys "r" us, but t.j. maxx, series and other places. >> and you mention eep track of your purchases. that goes without saying so we don't end up buying things multiple times. >> it happens when you're shopping online. when you shopping in july. >> and can i find where you put those gifts. i shopped for something and put it away. and you say pay in cash. >> it's a good idea to curb the credit card and you don't have to pay interest and it gets you into the thinking of mode of how much you're spending when you see you're green slipping away then it's time to cut back. >> and does th go with what you say to watch your balance. >> yes. and be proactive in managing credit card expenses. >> and you're talking about gift exchanges how is that something to keep an eye on. >> it's ideal because we have a tendency to want to shop for everybody that we know. and in the case of doing gift exchanges, it's a little bit easier. if you go on to doing secret santas if you will, they're great ways to cut back on costs. and one great site that does that is elfster.com and it keeps track of that. >> and any other websites we can use to make sure we get the best deals or coupons or anything like that? >> well if you're looking for coupons then retail mnot.com is a great site to get all sorts of coupons and codes, promotional codes for more than 40,000 retailers. >> and is there a way to find out the best deals out there in any one place? >> well if you go on our website, kiplinger.com, this story will be up on tomorrow's website. so we have all sorts of links to different retail sites, shop for me.com and zing sale.com. >> and we'll link you to those. and don't pay shipping. look for websites offering free shipping and they'll do it for the holidays because they want your sales. thanks for joining us. allison and tucker, back to you. >> it's almost time. >> i'm going to start early. >> right after this forecast i'll make a list. >> right after this forecast. clouds to start the day. a little bit of sunshine spoke with the democrats, now we get the g.o.p. perspective. joining us this morning now, michael steel, the chairman of the republican national committee. thanks for joining us. i appreciate how you've lower your seat to accommodate for me. a appreciate that. let's get down to business. you were out campaigning with bob mcdonnell. what is the vibe out there when you hit the trail? >> it is amazing. last week we did ten events over two days from each one to the next, the crowds grew. you were going to the -- the cul ison we have people making phone calls and there would be 100 people there saying what can i do, how can i help. so the energy is certainly there on the ground. it has been there for sometime. i think it's reflected in the polls. as i told bob and all of the candidates running, bowling and kutchinely, you guys are ten points down but stay focused. new jersey, i was there the week before. there is a real energy for those looking to make a difference in this campaign one way or the other. they've identified what they like about these candidates and they're gravitating toward them. and hopefully that will translate to a win on tuesday. >> many have said and we see it in the polls, the two-digit lead that mcdonnell is enjoying right now. many have said that it is a way for the republicans to get energized to regroup after the elections in november. >> yeah, i think there is a a lot of truth to that. this process for me has been rather cathartic because i've had the opportunity to go around the country and listen to a wide array of opinions and views on what our problems are and what ills us and the one thing that came through, as long as we stay focused on what has defined us historically, what our principles are when it comes to the role of government, self-creation, empowerment, those resonate. and when you translate into the local economy and issues, it gives the voters a basis on which to judge your leadership. we've often failed if recent past in that whole judging the leadership thing. we've gotten better with these guys and i'm hoping to use them, use they're races and their strategies as a model for candidates that we're training for next year to go out and be competitive. >> what needs to happen now? both of the men, deeds and mcdonnell, they both say the polls -- it's a litmus test maybe but it only goes so far. what needs to happen in the final stretch, really the final hours? >> really, as i said at one point to the campaign, you turn this over to your grassroots and activists out there making the phone calls and generating the votes to get to the polls tomorrow. and then the candidates turn it over. you're done. you can't make any more pitches at this point because the voters are settled in their mind where they want to be and what they want to do. now it's a matter of turning on your machine to get that vote to the polls. now post the election, win or lose, there will be analysis for days and there will be a lot of talk about what this all means. i think the baseline of what this means is that there are two things going on both nationally and locally where the voters are saying, we've now begun to link the two. you don't have -- as we've had in the past, a separation where this is just local, oh, this is all federal, national stuff. now the link is between the two. i can't get the health care unless i have a job. and there are no jobs being created in this state. and so you see how that played out in new jersey, for example, which is one of coursine's -- corzine's problem. and the biggest problem is no jobs and it translates into that. and there will be analysis so see whether there is a trend going into next year or whether there will be the traditional separation between a local issue and versus a national issue. >> race is tighter though in new jersey. what do you think is the difference between the two states as far as virginia and new jersey? >> on its face, virginia was red, using the old terminology, but now more purple. new jersey has always been blue. a solid blue state. we win there every 15 or 20 years and this may be our cycle and i think that's one of it. but the key thing for me that is significant about new jersey is how our candidate, chris christie has translated so well, been able to go into trenton and newark and elsewhere and jersey city and be competitive to make this a horse race between him and the governor. it says a lot about the mindset of the voters and his ability to take the issues and bring us closer to home. >> i have
