But it comes after a very unsettling 24 hours. This morning, police say, this laeblgdz plot involved two teenage boys, 14yearold and 13yearold. This morning, the 14yearold is being held without bail to a holding facility. The 13yearold was released to his parents yesterday. And this all started yesterday afternoon around 1 306789 Methuen Police telling us a student at the middle school mentioned, who then called them. According to police, 14yearold going to carry out the shooting while the 13yearold allegedly weapons. Yesterday. This is what Methuen Police chief had to say. And i v have friends who work with, so it made me nervous for them and my families and for me because i walk by here every day. And this comes just days of Methuen High School student was arrested on similar charges. That student allegedly school. Police searched his home and did find ammunition. And another Methuen High School student was arrested this week for pulling the fire alarm. She was able to give them a good description of the man. But two hours later, now looking for an older white man, with gray hair about five seven. He was driving a tan corolla in quincy. Call police if you have any information. Stepping up patrols at one housing complex after a woman was chased to her door at the Holding Green apartment. She was walking her dog when a minivan pulled up. Her instinct told her to run and when she did, the man chased her. She made it inside and locked the door. The man banged on the door. Cropped light colored hair. About six feet tall with a muscular build. He was seen in early 2000 colored bumper. News out mexico this morning, where Hurricane Patricia continues to hit that country hard. They say the storm is not as bad as they originally expected. At least one passenger wasnt impressed and reported the incident. Airport staff tells fox 25, that wasnt the only selfie, jet blue confirms an incident on their plane too. A pair of middle schoolers in Police Custody accused of plotting a school attack. It was breaking last night on fox 25 at 10. They were allegedly warning some of their fellow students of the attack they were planning on carrying out on monday. Good morning stephanie. Reporter and heather, Police Say One of those teens is obsessed with school shootings. Right here behind me this is the middle school that police say both of those teens allegedly plot to go shoot up. Police arrested both of those students yesterday, both are male, one is 13yearold, and the other was 14. The 13yearold was in charge of getting weapons while the 14yearold was going to carry out that alleged attack. Police say a classmate learned about the plot and then alerted them. Police quickly searched the home of both teens, they didnt find anything. The 14yearold being held without bail at a juvenile detention court. Hes going to be in court on monday. Both the 13yearold released to his parents. Both now charged with making a threat against a school. Thenned is what the Methuen Police chief had to say. This is, unfortunate, a second time in methuen this week. We had two students, 14, and 13yearold 8th Grade Students, making threats to students not to come to school on monday, because they were going to come to school and shoot up the school. 14yearold is being held in a court facility, transported to the court on monday the 13yearold released to his parents. Reporter now, police say this the third time since august since students acted on the see something, Say Something policy. Theyre crediting the courage of the students for coming forward. Meanwhile, two other teens also arrested due to safety concerns. Those happened in the previous weeks. Another incident involving a school, in haverhill, the school. With what appeared to be a handgun. The weapon turned out to be an air gun but the student also had a knife. The school was put in a stay in place mode for some time but no other threats found. We continue to follow that breaking news in mexico. Im back with meteorologist rob eicher right now and Hurricane Patricia continues to bear down on mexico after making land fall last night. Shes now a category 1. You have a satellite of showing where she is now. Yes. At this time 12 hours ago, it thats equivalent to what andrew was in 1992, it basically fell apart here the last couple of hours, the center, its kind of tough to tell because its falling apart. So we think its here right now. Thats right. What is the forecast for it potentially hitting the u. S. Hurricane will hit the u. S. But some of the moisture from the storm. No. Its 75mileperhour hurricane. And this the forecast from the Hurricane Center and it ends in 12 hours, because we expect it to completely dissipate overnight hours tonight. So it will not be a Tropical Cyclone. But you can already tell some of that moisture is heading our way. This hasnt been a ton of rain across the dallas area last couple. Days. A stalled frontal boundary. But you can watch some of the clouds and rain, whats left from patricia will exacerbate that system and bring moisture to texas and eventually southeastern United States over the next couple of days. It will not be a hurricane, not even a Tropical Storm when it does that but some. Of that moisture will impact the south eastern United States. Looking at video right now. A developing investigation in methuen this morning. A pair of middle coolers in police skulled, accused of plotting a school attack. This story, first brought to you on fox 25 breaking news at 10. Those students are planning to carry out an attack monday. Fox 25 Stephanie Coueignoux live at ten knee Grammar School in methuen this morning. Stephanie, those students may have warned some of their classmates about this alleged attack. And, in fact, police say warned the students, quote, good students, not to come to the middle school on monday. Which is whether they planned that alleged shooting. It is quiet here at the school. But certainly not the case yesterday. This morning, police say this alleged plot involved two teenage boys, a 14yearold and a 13yearold. This morning, the 14yearold being held without bail at a the 13yearold was released to his parents yesterday. And this all started yesterday afternoon at around 1 30. Methuen police told us a student here at the middle school mentioned the threat to staff member who then called them. According to police, the 14yearold was allegedly going to carry out that shooting while the 13yearold was allegedly going to handle getting the weapons. Police searched both homes yesterday, they didnt find anything. But this does come just days after a Methuen High School student was arrested on similar charges. That student allegedly threatened to shoot up the high school. Police searched his home. They did find ammunition inside. And then another Methuen High School student was arrested this week for pulling the fire alarm. Meanwhile, in regards to the most recent incident, coming up in 30 minutes, the dane rulsz obsession Police Say One of the teens has. In methuen, Stephanie Coueignoux fox 25. Meanwhile, a man hunt continues for a man in bourne, where police say Branden Coggeshall escaped from a cruiser in custody yesterday. He was in custody for nonviolent warrants. Call police if you see him. Two separate attempts to lure young girls in randolph and convince see. Now please are working to see if these incidents are connected. They both happened thursday. In randolph, the man at a bus stop and allegedly grabbed an wanted to talk. Police say even when that girl took off, that man wouldnt leave her alone. She moved away from him, went down the street, towards her home, she then stopped and sat counsel down, he came and sat down next to her, he didnt say anything at that time. An then he followed her once again, not making any statement to her. And thats the last time she saw him. A tan corolla, an older white man. Information. Developing situation in methuen this morning. A pair of middle schoolers in Police Custody accused of plotting a school attack. Pretty scary stuff. We brought you fox 25 last night at 10 as breaking news. Those students are warning some of their class mates that they allegedly planned to carry out this attack on monday. Stephanie coueignoux live at stenknee Grammar School in methuen with more on what police stephanie. Reporter heather, police also tells us one of the teens is obsessed, has an obsession with school shootings. This is the middle school right police say was at center of that alleged plot. Police arrested the students yesterday. Both are male. One is 14 years old. The other 13 years old. According to police, the 13yearold was in charge of getting the weapons while the 14yearold was going to carry out that attack. Class mates learned about attacks and alerted them. Please quickly searched the home both teens, they didnt find anything. The 14yearold being held without bail at a juvenile detention center. The 13yearold released to his parents. Both now charged with making a threat against a school. Yesterday this is what methuens police chief had to say. This is unfortunately the second time in methuen this week. We had two students, 13 and 14yearold 8th Grade Students at ten knee school making threats towards to the school, not to come to school on monday, because they were going to come to school and shoot up the school. The 13yearold is released to his parents, 14yearold in a facility and will be transported to court on monday. Reporter and this isnt the only Incident Police and the school have been involved with involving safety concerns. Two other teens already arrested in the previous weeks. Police also say this is the third time since august students have acted on the see something, Say Something policy. They say its to the credit of these courageous students who come forward and alert them about these issues. And coming up in 30 minutes, the group of Students Police say were actually warned to stay home on monday in light of this most recent alleged attack. The school was put in a stay in place mode for some time. Hurricane patricia continues the world. Shes now a category number one. At her peak, rob eicher, she was the strongest of recorded in the western atmosphere. In the west turn atmosphere, yes. Take you back 12 hours in the land fall, 7 oclock yesterday afternoon, right before land fall, you can tell, it did have a well defined eye, right there and watch over the last 12 hours, kind of falling apart over that rugged terrain. Latest update from the Hurricane Center, still barely a hurricane. Another update from the Hurricane Center in a few minutes, shortly before 8 oclock. For now, barely a hurricane. Should degenerate into a Tropical Storm later today and completely fall apart tonight. Having said that, even though patricia is starting to break up. You do think that some of the affects of patricia could be felt here in just. Yes. Looking at land fall again, 165 Miles Per Hour at land fall. If you look at the satellite and radar imagery out of southern texas, youll notice some of that moisture is already moving into parts of the u. S. It will not be a hurricane, not even a Tropical Storm, no tropical system whatsoever. But some of that moisture will work its way into texas. Meanwhile, a fron frontal boundary already caused over dallas. Any remnant from patricia will exacerbate that. And you are expecting another update from the Hurricane Center, in the next few minutes. So well check back with you when we get that information. Sounds good. A woman was tied up during a home invasion, the victim arrived at her apartment and found three armed men inside. They robbed the place, tied her up in the bedroom. The victim was eventually able to break free from both head and leg restraints. Ran for helpful call Worcester Police if you know anything about this crime. A woman on a bike hit and killed on the cape as we first reported on the fox 25 at 10. The firefighters tell us the woman was hit by a car on route 6 friday afternoon. She was taken to Cape Cod Hospital. But sadly didnt make it. Were still wait to go hear if the driver will be charged in this incident. This accident closed the road for about two hours and remains under investigation. A med way woman sharing a terrifying experience. She was driving home from work late at night last week when she said a police impersonate tore tried to pull her over or run her off the road, one or the other. Started tailing her a short distance from her home. She said that vehicle had its interior lights on and blue and green lights inside moupted on the dash. A former youth football coach is under investigation this morning for allegedly trying to sabotage the team that he once coached. Fox 25 broke this story thursday night and it continues to unfold. After searching a after serving a search warrant, police are now trying to prove this man went online to mess with rosters of three hanover youth football teams. Fox 25 Carrie Kavanaugh reports the act is creating a lot of bad blood. It goes against everything that we should be teaching these young boys. Reporter Michael Jones is a youth football coach in hanover. He says the fall season for 117 players in the towns three teams got offo a rocky start and nothing to do with the field. An alleged data breach. Jones contacted police, concerned a former coach had a vendetta. It started some type of altercation between the adults and the coaches to the point where there was it got physical. Reporter jones says that altercation led to coach james ward wells Permanent League suspension. That led police to him. Fox 25 obtained this photo of officers searching the home of the coach last week. Friday we pulled the search warrant. Showing police confiscated an iphone, a computer and wireless router. Went to ward wells home after tracing the web activity to ip address at the home. Ward well had no comment when we went to his hanover home. Learned the hanover youth job wasnt the only youth coaching job he lost this year. Officials at Spellman High School in brockton said it was mutually decided ward well would no longer coach the girls Basketball Team. And friday, another youth league, confirmed hes no longer coaching Boys Basketball pending the outcome of the criminal investigation. I hope they absolutely charge him. A decision finally reached on boston Police Officer has been cleared in a deadly shooting that happened last year. The fatal shots were fired in april of 2014. This morning, Stephanie Coueignoux is live at ten knee gap march school in methuen. Some people are saying they warned some students about their alleged plan. Reporter and michael, Police Actually say the teens selected certain students they considered good students, told them about this alleged plot here at the middle school and actually told them to stay home on monday, when that alleged plot was supposed to be carried out. This morning, very quiet here at the school. But of course it certainly was not the case yesterday. This morning, this alleged plot said involved two teenage boys a 13yearold and 14yearold. This morning, that 14yearold being held without bail at juvenile holding facility. The 13yearold was released to and this all started yesterday afternoon at around 1 30. Thats when Methuen Police say a student at the middle School Called them about this threat. And according to police, the 14yearold who was allegedly going to carry out the shooting while the 13yearold was going to handle getting the weapons. Police searched both homes yesterday. They didnt find anything. This comes days after a Methuen High School student was arrested on similar charges. That student allegedly threatened to shoot up the high school. Police also searched his home. They did find ammunition inside. And then another Methuen High School student was arrested this week for pulling the fire alarm. Meantime, coming up in 30 minutes, were learning more about the mind set of the teens involved in this incident. What police say was a very dangerous obsession by one of those teens envelope methuen, im Stephanie Coueignoux, fox 25 news. This is new this morning, a young driver he is camed from this fiery crash. Take a look at this video. Amazingly escaped without any serious injuries. It happened in barnstable. The truck crashed into a tree and burst into flames. Reporting the driver unstable during a field sobriety test and will likely now receive criminal charges for the crash. A man hunt continues this morning for a man in bourne. Where police say Branden Coggeshall escaped from a cruiser at the station yesterday. You see him on the screen right there, hes in custody for nonviolent warrants. Call police if you see him. Two separate attempt to try to lure young girls happened in both randolph and quincy. Police are now working to see if theyre connected. In randolph a man waited at a bus stop and grabbed an 11yearold girl saying he wanted to talk. Even when that girl took off, the man wouldnt leave her alone. She moved away from him, went down the street towards her home, she then stopped and sat down, he came and sat down next to her. He didnt say anything at that time. And then he folded her once more again not making any statements to her and thats the last time she saw him. Fortunately, that girl was not hurts. But she was able to give him a good description of that man. Just two hours after that, Quincy Police say a man tried to lure two girls from a middle school. An older white man with whiter gray hair about five foot seven. In quincy he may have been driving a tan corolla, call police with any of that information. Harvard Police Stepping up patrols at a housing complex after a woman there was chased to her door. At the holden green apartments. She was walking her dog and when a minivan pulled up and her instinct told her to run, she did, but the man chased her. She made it to the door and locked the door and she told police, he banged on the door before taking off. Cropped, white colored hair, standing about six feet tall with muscular build. He was seen in an 2000 style dark colored van with a silver bumper. Call police if you have any information on that case. Breaking news out of mexico this morning, Hurricane Patricia continues to hit the area but as meteorologist rob eicher just told us, shes now downgraded to a Tropical Storm. This as Officials Say the storm is not as bad as they expected. It made land fall in mexico around 7 p. M. Our time last night. Patricia was still the strongest hurricane of recorded in the western hemisphere. That area was pummeled with winds travelling 165 Miles Per Hours at the time. While 50,000 tourists have been evacuated from coastal mexico. Airports shut down right now. But not stopping the air force flying into the storm to collect taft. Meanwhile people are told to stay inside, the red cross standing by with volunteers on the ready as well. Police recording where half a dozen dirt bikes are coming from dorchester. Police say they found six dirt buyerings and fourwheel motorbike while investigating a gasoline smell. No one at the address claimed ownership, so police impounded them. This all comes as police got many complaints about bike thefts and reckless driving. If you have any information, call police. Fox 25 is working for you to try to get the names of the victims in that deadly shooting in brighton. This was the scene early friday morning after a 30yearold man was killed on spell ford street. Right now police are looking at Surveillance Video, hoping it leads to an arrest of a suspect. If you know anything, you should call police. Bellingham police are hoping these surveillance images help them catch a bank robber. Police say the man handed the teller a note claiming to have a gun. Hard to tell in the images but the man had long hair. Witnesses say it might have been a wig, though. A note also handed over in this robbery, at a cvs in dover New Hampshire. If you take a close look at the guy in the surveillance images, youll see who police are looking for, they say he used a note to demand drugs from the pharmacist. A police dog was able to track his cented for a bit but did eventually lose him. Call police if you can help them solve this one. A an off Duty Police Officer catches a robber red handed. A 27yearold man was buying something at a cvs last night when he leaned over and grabbed cash out of the register. An off duty Harvard UniversityPolice Officer happened to be there he recognized the commotion and stopped the robber from getting away until the police could get there and make the arrest. Police say that woman was driving erratically and speeding when she crashed on route 128, shutting that road down for quite some time. Crews had a hard time finding her 8yearold daughter in that smoke filled car, it turned out the daughter had already escaped. The pair were rushed to Cape Cod Hospital. Another pair from another car that was struck was also taken to the hospital. A sends off party for soldiers heading overseas. They will spend the next nine operation shield. The ceremony will honor the soldiers at 3 oclock at u. Mass. Lowell. Also, today, the navy in bahamas searching for the data recorder from el faro. Thats a device similar to a planes black box. The search team says it probably has a week now until the batteries in that recorder stop working and stop sending signals. It comes after debris thought to be from the ship have been washing up on the beaches in that area. Dozens of bottles of personal Hygiene Products and even pair of sneakers have been recovered. 33 people, including three massachusetts natives were on that ship when it disappeared into the eye of Hurricane Joaquin earlier this month. 40 Million Dollars worth of cocaine confiscated by the u. Call it more sun than clouds for them. But eventually the clouds do take over, not just in worcester but everywhere as we head into the evening hours. Heres the difference the winds are a lot of lighter than yesterday morning. But the wind direction also changing, starting to blow in out of the north and northeast, coming in off the atlantic, closely at the satellite, the gray areas indicating the cloud cover, already were seeing some of those clouds blow in across the cape and already seeing some clouds moving in in advance of our next weather system that will bring us some rain tomorrow. Right there in the mimdz, worcester one of the spots waking up to clear skies. 42 in boston. 39 in norwood. 32 in manchester. Temperatures will get to the low on par with what we had out there yesterday afternoon. Despite the cooler start this morning. 40s. Rain moves in for your sunday morning. Track those showers and time them out for you in a few minutes. We are following breaking news out of worcester to tell you about right now. One person transported to the hospital after a single engine aircraft went down during take off at worcester airport. We can tell you this happened right at the top of the hour. Right now its not clear how badly that person is hurt. But fox 25 does have a crew on the way to the scene. Well check in with them with an up daylight as soon as they get there. And a developing investigation in methuen this morning. Two teens chargeded with laejtdly shooting up their middle school. The story was broke out at 10. Stephanie coueignoux delivered a report center ten knee Grammar School in methuen. Teens was actually obsessed with school shootings. Police say those teens were plotting to attack. Police arrested those students yesterday. Both are male. One is 14 years old. The other is 13. According to police, the 1yearold was in charge of getsing the weapons while the 14yearold was actually the one to carry out that attack. Police say a class made learned about the plot and alerted them. Police then searched the homes of those teens and didnt finds anything. The 14yearold now being held without bail at a juvenile detention center. Hes going to be in court on monday. The 13yearold released to his parents. Both are charged with making a threat against a school. Take a listen to what methuens police chief had to stay. This is unfortunately the second time in moofrn this week. We had two students ark 13 and 14yearold 8th Grade Student at methuen ten knee school, making threats towards the students not to come to school on monday. Because we were going to come to school and shoot up the school. 13yearold released to his parents. 14yearold being held in a secure facility, transported to court on monday. Reporter police say this is third time since august students have acted on see something, Say Something policy. Theyre crediting the students for coming forward and helping them. And in the meantime, two other teens recently been arrested in connection to safety concerns. Coming up in 30 minutes, the group of Students Police say they were warned about this most recent attack. In methuen, Stephanie Coueignoux, fox 25 news. In haverhill a students also under arrest accused of taking two weapons to a school. Were told the student was seen friday morning at the middle school with what appeared to be a handgun. Police say the weapon turned out to be an air gun but the student also had a knife. The school was put in a stay in joined by rob eicher and in the last 4 to 5 minutes, you got the warning in the Hurricane Center that patricia is downgraded to a Tropical Storm. What does that mean as its going to play out. The gulf of mexico taken a toll, it had a well defined eye yesterday afternoon. Made land fall shortly after 7. This is puerto vallarta. And its kind of tough to tell because the satellite images just become so ragged. 50mileperhour Tropical Storm was the up date from the Hurricane Center at 8 oclock. Heres the hurricane track notice its really short because were expecting patricia have a very short life span, probably completely dissipate tonight. That doesnt mean her affects thats correct. If you look at the satellite and texas, you can see the frontal boundary draped over dallas and that front has produced a ton of rain over the past couple. Days. Then recently, start to see some rain, really the start of the outer reaches of patricia start to go reach into southern texas. Even though patricia will fall apart, no longer be a Tropical Storm or Tropical Cyclone in the a few hours. The remnants of that will move across texas texas and mainly the gulf coast, this area, new orleans, louisiana, mississippi and alabama over the next couple of days, that extra rain fall could kind of exacerbate an already flooding situation in the dallas area. Fortunately, wont be headed our way. Doesnt look like it. Mainly through the southeast United States. Do have a front wednesday and thursday, will bring us rain regardless. Unrelated. Unrelated. After serving a search warrant. Police are now trying to prove that this man went online in three hanover youth football teams. Fox 25 Kerry Kavanaugh reports the act is creating as you might image a lot of bad blood. It goes against everything we boys. Reporter Michael Jones is a youth football coach in hanover. He says the fall season for 117 players and the towns three teams got off to a rocky start and had nothing to do with any play on the field. All of the roster unless the league were missing. Reporter an alleged data breach. A former coach had a vendetta. Started some type of altercation between the adults and coaches, to the point where there was it got physical. Reporter jones said that altercation led to coach james ward wells Permanent League suspension. That led police to him. Contained this photo of officers searching the home of the coach last week. Friday we pulled a warrant. An iphone, computer, and wireless router. The warrant went to ward wells home after tracing the illicit web activity to the ip address at the home. Officials at Spellman High School in brockton said it was mutually decided that he would no longer coach the girls Basketball Team after it was decided. All part of a frontal boundary, there it is just on the other side of the mississippi. Ahead of that front, showers already moving into new york and those showers expected to arrive here tomorrow morning. Very tail end of the front as patricia falls apart over central mexico. Some of the clouds, some of that rain, will eventually spread up into texas and across the south eastern United States over the next couple of days. Not very likely that moisture will get pulled up this way, at least nothing directly you can attribute to patricia but still expecting a good soaking rain as wednesday and thursday. And clouds taking over the area as we head throughout the day, most cloudy skies by the evening hours. Not expecting rain whatsoever for this evening. But early tomorrow morning, predawn areas, southern vermont, pats of New Hampshire could see some showers in the predawn area tomorrow. Two teens allegedly charged with shooting up their middle school. The story breaking last night on fox 25 at 10. They were tipped off by one of their classmates. Fox 25 Stephanie Coueignoux has more from ten knee Grammar School in methuen. Teens actually chose certain students who they considered to be, quote, good students, told them about the attack on this middle school right here behind me and then police say they were told to stay home on monday when that alleged attack was supposed to happen. It is quiet here this morning. Yesterday. Please told me this alleged plot involved two teenage boys a 14yearold and 13yearold. This morning, the 14yearold is being held without bail at juvenile holding facility. The 13yearold was released to his parents yesterday. This all started yesterday afternoon at around 1 30. Methuen police told us a student at the middle school mentioned the threat to a staff member, who then called them. According to police, the 14yearold was allegedly going to carry out that shooting, while the 13yearold was allegedly going to handle getting the weapon. Police searched both homes anything. But this does come just days student was arrested on similar charges. That student allegedly threatened to shoot up the high school. Police also searched his home and found ammunition inside. And then another Methuen High School student was arrested this week for pulling the fire alarm. Police also telling us that one of the teens involved in this most recent incident was obsessed with school shootings. In methuen, im Stephanie Coueignoux, fox 25 news. This is new this morning. A young driver escaped from this fiery crash. Injuries. It happened just after midnight barnstable. As you can see that truck right there crashed into that tree. Look at those flames highianness news reporting that the driver appeared unstable during a field sobriety test and likely receive criminal charges for the crash. The man hunt continues this morning for a man in bourne. Police there say Branden Coggeshall escaped from a cruiser in custody yesterday. He was in custody for three nonviolent warrants. Community is on high alert this morning, after two separate attempts to allegedly try to lure young girls in randolph and quincy. Police trying to see if these are connected. A man wait add a bus stop and grabbed an 11yearold girl saying he wanted to talk. Police say even when that girl took off, that man wouldnt leave her alone. He moved away from him, went down the street towards her home. She then sat down and he came and sat down next to her. He didnt say anything at that time. He followed her once more again not making any statementses to her and that is the last time that she saw him. Fortunately, that girl was not hurt. But police say she was able to give them a good description of that man. Then, though, two hours later, Quincy Police say a man tried to lure two girls from a middle school there. White man with whiter gray hair about five foot seven. In quincy they believe he was driving a tan corolla. Call police with any information. Thats all happening as Harvard Community police are stepping up patrols after one woman was chased to her door. Happened just before 4 oclock yesterday morning at holden green apartments. Harvard police say the woman was walking her dog when a minivan pulled up and her instinct told her to run and when she the did, that man chased her and she ran inside and locked the door. She said, the man banged on the door. Hes about six feet tall with muscular build and last seen driving an early 2000 style dark colored van that has a silver bumper. Call police with any information. Following breaking news this morning out of mexico just within the past hour, patricia downgraded to a Tropical Storm. Meteorologist rob eicher confirming that update for us. However, at its peak, patricia was still the strongest hurricane of recorded in the western hemisphere. The area was pummeled with winds travelling 165 Miles Per Hour yesterday. 50,000 tourists evacuated. Airports shut down. Right now people in mexico are being told to stay inside. Time now 9 07. Boston Police Investigating where half a dozen dirt bikes came from after they showed up dorchester. Police say they found six dirt bikes and a fourwheel motor gasoline smell. And this morning, on fox 25, were working to get the victims name in a deadly shooting in brighton. The scene any morning after a 30yearold man was killed. Theyre looking at Surveillance Video hoping to lead to an arrest of a suspect. Bellingham police are hoping these surveillance image help them catch a bank robber. Police say the man handed the gun. Its hard to tell on the knowledge mas but the man had long hair, hair that witnesses say might have been a wig. And the note was also handed over in this robbery, it hatched at a cvs on Central Avenue in dover New Hampshire. Take a look at the guy on the surveillance images if you would. Police say he used a note to pharmacist. A police dog was able to track his cent for a bit but eventually lost him. New this morning, an off Duty Police Officer catches a robber red handed. The man was buying something at a cvs last night, when he leaned over and grabbed cash right out of the Cash Register. It happened that an off duty, Harvard UniversityPolice Officer heard that commotion and stopped that robber from getting away until Billerica Police could get there to make that arrest. Billerica police are applauding that effort of the off Duty Police Officer. A close call in yarmouth after a car crash and burst into flames and fleece say they were out in time. Police say the woman was driving erratically, she was speeding when she crashed on route 128 and shut that road down for quite some time. Police were trying to catch up with her when the car crashed into a telephone pole and burst into flames. She was unresponsive and trapped. She also had a hard time finding the 8yearold daughter in smoke filled car. Turns out the daughter had already escaped. Happening today, a accepted off ceremony for local heros ready to serve overseas. About 160 soldiers from the Massachusetts National guards 1,00060 Transportation Company, will spend the next month in kuwait. This ceremony will honor them at 3 oclock in u. Mass. Lowell. Navy in the bahamas today searching for the data recorder from el faro. The search team says it probably only has a week now until the batteries in that recorder stop working and stop sending signals. Want to bring you up to speed right now. News out of worcester this morning with one person within the last half hour transported to a hospital because of a plane crash there. Fox 25 Stephanie Coueignoux youre on the phone, on the way to the scene, stephanie, what do we know so far. Well, we can confirm with the worcester fire chief that around 8 oclock this morning, a small single engine plane was trying to take off from Worcester Regional Airport when it crashed. This is off of cofus drive. The pilot was the only one in that plane. The crews were able to remove hospital. Right now we dont know how bad he was injured. Im on 290, 7 miles outside of worcester right now. Hoping to arrive in the next 20 minutes. Well bring you a live update from that scene. Right now we do know the faa is investigating the crash. And were asking what may have caused that plane to crash, whether it was a mechanical failure, possibly weather related, was it pilot error. That is something theyre still working on at this moment. But, again, were about 20 minutes away from this small single engine plane crash. One person inside that plane rushed to the hospital, being treated for injuries. She was sworn in last week and now sitting down on a oneonone interview, with a look how she cease her office. Reporter we sat down with Maria Mossaides in the week. How do you protect kids . I think you protect kids by place. And i think were all aware that the rebuilding of the department of children and families is not going to happen oer night. Its a tough question and comes at a time when dcf is under for the high profile case. She tells me dcf is working on reforms and there are no guarantees. There is going to be a period of time before all of these reforms are fully implemented. And i think in this period of time time, were all sort of concerned. Last week mossaides was sworn in, and this week, she testified more unless and a five year term. There is always the possibility that you could do something that is offensive to the person who appointed you and you run the risk that you would then be removed. Fox 25 Christine Mccarthy showed us what she learned about this so called wing man. Reporter in a world flooded with selfies, programs we shouldnt be surprised by one snapped at Logan Airport thursday night. It was just one of those oh my gods moments. Reporter but it is shocking to travellers. I wouldve been very worried. And i wouldve been mad. Reporter because it was on a wing of American Airlines jet like this one allegedly taken by an employee of swiss port. A company that provides cargo, fuel and Passenger Services at Logan Airport. Its crazy. I dont know how someone would think to do it, what kind of judgment is involved. But on the other hand, it must have been a great selfie. Reporter at least one passenger wasnt impressed and reported the incident, airport staff told fox 25 and that wasnt the only selfie. Jet blue confirms an incident on their plane too. Officials with both airlines performed inspections and deemed the aircraft safe before taking off. I dont want to fly on a plane with someone bouncing around on the wing without knowing its okay. Reporter Officials Say the worker had a mass port badge which allows him on the property. But sources say thats been taken away. Passengers we talked to are divided on what punishment he should face. As i mentioned we are following breaking news out of worcester this morning where one person has been rushed to the hospital after a single engine aircraft went down during take off at worcester airport. This happened at 8 a. M. Right now it is not clear how badly that pilot was hurt. We can tell you the fox 25 Stephanie Coueignoux is just about arriving on the scene there in worcester. Were going to check in with her within the next 15 minutes. Another developing story. This is in methuen today. Two teens charged with allegedly planning to shoot up their middle school. This story was breaking last night on fox 25 news at 10. Police say they were tipped off by one of their class mates. Fox 25 Stephanie Coueignoux filed this report from tenney Grammar School in methuen. Police told us one of those teens was actually obsessed with school shootings. Right here behind me, this is the middle school. Police say those teens were allegedly plotting to attack. Yesterday. Both are male. One is 14 years old. The other is 13. According to police, the 13yearold was in charge of while the 14yearold was actually going to be the one to carry out an alleged attack. Police say a class mate learned about the plot and alerted them. Police then quickly searched the homes of both teens and didnt find anything. Without bail at a juvenile at the detention center. Hes going to be in court on monday. The 14yearold released to his parents. Both are charged with making a threat against a school. Take a listen to what methuens police chief had to say. Unfortunately, the second time in methuen this week. We had two students, 13 and 14yearold, 8th Grade Students at Methuen Tenney schools making threats not to come to school on monday. Because they were going to shoot up the school. 14yearold is being held in a secure facility. Transported to court on monday. Police say this is the third time since august students have acted on see something, Say Something policy. Theyre crediting those courageous students with coming forward and helping them. Meantime, two other teens recently have also been arrested in connection to safety concerns. The road was closed for two investigation. New, a car was split in two. Happened just before 1 30 this westport. Severed. The other half of the car ended up about 100 feet down the road. Police are trying to prove that this man went online to mess with rosters of three hanover youth football teams. Fox 25 Kerry Kavanaugh reports the act is creating a lot of bad blood. It goes against everything we should be teaching these young boys. Reporter Michael Jones does a youth football coach in hanover. He says the fall season for the three teams got off to a rocky start and had nothing to do with any play on the field. All of the rosters for the whole league in hanover were missing. An alleged data breach. Contacted police, saying a former coach had a vendetta. It started some type of altercation between the adulteds and coaches to the point where there was it got physical. Reporter john says that altercation led to james wardwells Permanent League suspension. That led to him the Police Searching the home of the coach last week. Friday we pulled the search warrant, showing the police confiscated an iphone, a wireless router and computer. Officials at Spellman High School in brockton say it was mutually decided wardwell would no longer coach the girls Basketball Team after last season. Reporter well, michael, i can let you know that the faa has identified that aircraft as a mooney m20. There was just one pilot on board when that plane crashed at just around 8 oclock this morning. Im going to step out of the way, were here on more drive, you can see that police car right there, blocking that entrance further down this road. That is where police are saying that single engine plane crashed. We are being kept pretty far back. Meanwhile, hovering above us, im not sure you can hear it, once it comes closer a mass. State Police Helicopter has been hovering over this crash scene for quite some time. But, again, were being told by the worcester fire chief, at around 8 a. M. That single engine plane was trying to take off from Worcester Regional Airport when it crashed. Again, the pilot was the only person inside. Crews were able to remove that pilot. They rushed that pilot to the hospital. At this time, we dont know how badly injured that pilot is. And now the faa investigating exactly what caused this plane to crash. The fcc also investigating as well. Were asking whether it couldve been mechanical failure, possibly pilot error or even possibly weather related. Although i have to tell you the now.
