But the better chance for rain starts after sunset and thats when we start to see the hit or miss scattered showers. And 6 00 tomorrow morning, you can see how the rain is really just starting to build in around the area. But the models have started to pull back a little bit for the Early Morning commute. On how much widespread rain well have. And start to show the rain chances picking up around 8 00 in the morning as this low gets closer to us. And that whole frontal boundary gets closer to us as well. Off and on and even beginning at after sunset tonight and continuing through the day tomorrow. But the peak time where i think well have the most widespread rain, the heaviest rain and when we will be watching for that slight risk for a severe storm to develop will be between 8 00 in the morning and about 2 00 in the afternoon. Now if the timing of this system changes at all, that will impact the timing here for that chance for severe storms so we need to keep a very close eye on on this and my suggestion would be make sure that you have storm shield on your mobile device so you can be alerted wherever you are tomorrow if we do have any warnings. And off to the north where we usually find our coldest temperatures in citrus county, we are in the low 40s. So in general id say this is pretty comfortable for this time of the year. Average temperatures for this time of year. We have a lot of cloud cover out there this morning. But we are dry. And well be topping out in the mid 670s very little if any rain chance during our daytime hours. But after sunset, those rain chances start going up. So i think most of the evening commute is going to be nice and dry. The morning commute, looking fabulous out there. Weatherwise, the question is, you know, all kinds of things can develop. And they can develop in an instant. So janelle, whats going on . Yeah we have a crash in brandon but first were going to head on out to Corey Dierdorff on 275 just coming off the Howard Frankland into the tampa area where the pa couple of past couple of mornings this has been the trouble spot due to the new realignment and narrower lanes on 275 northbound through dale mabry. Its caused some backup on the Howard Frankland and up through downtown right now though as you can see corey driving there things are looking pretty good. Lets check the drive times now on i4 looking great there. 23 minutes from county line road to downtown. And down at the bottom there just eight minutes from 75 down to 275. And checking your drive times on the majors, u. S. 19 southbound from tampa road to east bay. 11 minutes. 18 minutes on the havent from 54 veterans from 54 down to 575 and five minutes from dale mabry from fletcher to waters. Action air 1. And we are not going to see a before sunset. But after sunset, the rain chances start to pick up. It will be very hit or miss overnight. But you may even hear a heavy downpour for a period of time in the overnight. And then tomorrow, things start this area of low pressure that weve been talking about that will move across the gulf heavier rain and a slight heavier rain and a slight chance that we could see some severe storms some damaging winds and even a brief tornado especially closer to the coastline as this system rolls on shore. And the most likely timing as it looks right now is from 8 00 in the morning to 2 00 in the afternoon. For that heavier stronger line of storms that will roll through. This timing could change some. So what the best thing to do today is just make sure you dont have loose items arnold the porches and around the porches and make sure that youve got some like storm shield on your mobile device to be alerted as you are on the go.
