Years old, found dead on sunday. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital. This Morning Police are trying to piece together what happened in those moments leading up to his death. They have in custody this morning we want to show you his mug shot, the 26yearold lord pardo. They have charged him with Second Degree murder. He lives here on long island where neighbors were stunned to hear of his arrest on monday. Its very sad. Babies cant help themselves. You cant kill a baby. The most ridiculous thing to hear. Sad thing. Reporter now at this point, investigators are not revealing the relationship between the suspect and the little boy. Again, he was found unresponsive on sunday, later pronounced dead at an area hospital here on long island. Mary and chris, back to you. Thank you. New information in the murders of a jersey city woman and her son. Police are looking for the estranged boyfriend. A 26yearold. The 27yearold and her son were found unconscious last week. They died soon after in the hospital. The medical examiner said she had been strangled, her sun son suffocated. Arrangement today for a woman charged with abducting and sexually assaulting a teenager in bridgeport, connecticut. The 38yearold was arrested over the weekend. Last week police say she lured a 17yearold girl into her car by offering her a ride to school and then allegedly attacked her. In the scene caught on video, the teen jumped out of a moving car. She was not hurt. Police are searching for a group of robbers who punched a teen, knocking him to the ground in bronx. Police released this video from last month. Investigators say the two men approached the 16yearold, punched him and stole his iphone. And a third man appeared to stand as a lookout nearby. A mother of five was struck and killed at a bus stop while making one last phone call to the man she loved. Reporter the horror of it all sinks for a family. A coke delivery truck veering on to a scaffoldcovered sidewalk. The the lady was standing there and people ran. She just didnt get out of the way quick enough. And it hit her and ran right over her. Reporter the 37yearold was on the phone with her husband when it happened. That was the last thing i heard from her. I thought somebody snapped her phone away or something somebody snatched her phone away or something. Reporter witnesses say it was a toxic traffic mix, home bound commuters and a pack of local motorcycles, angling for the ramp to the the elevated highway. The cars were rushing to get on the highway. So carer avoided the motorcycle, hit truck, the the truck lost truck, the truck lost control and ran up into the thing. Reporter it took three hours to remove the body. The hardest job though is to tell the victims children their mother wont be. Coming home. Five teenage boy, 19 to 14. Reporter what are they going to do now . We dont know. The two youngest dont know. So we have to explain to them now. In addition to the fatality, there were six people injured including the drivers of the truck, the suv and two other women at the bus stop the. All of the injuries are considered minor. The search is on for the gunman who shot three people outside a nightclub and killing one of them. Investigators say the gunman was aiming for the bouncers who tossed him out because he had been fighting. The family says the 24yearold mother to a toddler was celebrating her birthday. My grandson wont see mom no more. Im so angry. Hes at home. And shes not here. The two other women shot are recovering. Police are not released the sources tell us that he is a known gang member. Safety the tests will be getting underway on a number of elevators in cityowned buildings looking for a potentially deadly defect. The Buildings Department says while investigating the death, inspectors selected select elevators may have a safety problem. A man was crushed two weeks ago when he tried to escape an elevator that stopped between floors. Landlords will be responsible for getting the elevators tested. New questions surround a teenagers deadly fall down a Staten Island elevator shaft. Reporter police at the long abandoned Staten Island hospital again today and while its unclear what they were doing, this remains an open invitation three days after 16 yearold Marcos Castillo fell to his death. My first child, the young mans mother cried on the weekend as her husband demands answers as to why the empty wreck of a property remained so accessible for decade. The family says theyve heard from no city officials. Calls from cbs 2 news to a local counselwoman have not been returned. Can you tell us, why did a young man have to the die at this facility . A surfer who lost most of one leg in a shark attack in hawaii says he is determined to ride the waves again. The 25yearold collin cook was bitten by a 10 to 12foot tiger shark last friday. He punched the shark until it swam away but doctors had to amputate most of his leg. I didnt know whether he was going to live or die. Family and friends are grieving this morning after a mother of five was struck and killed at a bus stop in bronx. Police say she was on the phone with her husband last night when a coke delivery truck veered off the road on to a scaffoldcovered sidewalk on east 138th street. Witnesses say the 37yearold woman couldnt get out of the way quick enough and the truck hit her and ran her over. That was the last thing i heard from her. You know, i thought somebody snatched her phone away or something. But no, she had got hit. And then a friend called me. I have been married to her 13 years. I cant describe it. Six others were injured including the drivers of the truck and the suv. Police say their injuries all minor. Arraignment for a woman sexually assaulting a teenager in connecticut. She was arrested last weekend. A week ago, police say she lured a 17yearold girl into her car by offering her a ride to her school and then allegedly attacked her in a scene caught on video. The teen jumped out of the moving car. She was not hurt. This morning the search is on for a gunman who shot three women outside a nightclub killing one of them. She died when she was shot in the back outside club motivo on Broadway Monday morning. Investigators say the gunman was aiming for the bouncers who tossed him out because he had been fighting. The family says the 24yearold mother a toddler was celebrating her birthday. My grandson wont see his mom no more. I am so angry. Hes at home. And shes not here. The two other women shot are recovering. Police have not released name of the suspect. Sources tell us that he is a known gang member. Two kansas city injuries from when a burning building collapsed on top of them. They were battling an Apartment Building at the time. Two other firefighters were hurt. Their conditions are not known. And two residents were rescued. And safety tests will be getting underway in a number of city of cityown buildings. While investigating the death of a man, inspectors discovered select elevators made by global may have a safety problem. This little boy Mason Robinson, just a year and a half when police say he was murder here on long island on sunday. Now this is the man police have in custody here this morning. 26yearold lord pardo. He is being held right here at Nassau Police headquarters after his arrest yesterday. He has been charged with Second Degree murder in connection with that little boys death. And now, he lives where neighbors say they are stunned to hear of his arrest. Its very sad. Very sad. You know, a baby cant help themselves. You cant kill a baby. Police tell us that he lives here on long island where we went to his home yesterday. And neighbors stunned by his arrest and the charges he is now facing. Very sad. Very sad. You cant kill a baby. Heart break in bronx after a woman was struck and killed at a bus stop. Police say she was on the phone with her husband last night when a coke delivery truck veered off the road on to a scaffoldcovered sidewalk on east 138th street. And witnesses say the truck hit her and ran her over. I heard from her. You know, i thought somebody snapped her phone away or something somebody snapped somebody snatched her phone or something. But no. I cant describe it. Six others including the drivers to of the truck and the suv is suffered minor injuries. The tv screen you now see in taxis could start telling you more about the cost of your ride. They are considering a new system designed to calculate fares. Satellite data would update fares based on distance and traffic delays. They plan to vote on thursday. Another milestone for tracy morgan. The comedian performed in manhattan last night. It came two months after a series of blasts in the same city. Those explosions killed more than 100 people and injured nearly 800. Two kansas city firefighters have died from injuries suffered when a burning build collapsed on top of them. They were battling the Apartment Building fire at time. And two other firefighters were hurt. Their conditions not known. Two residents were rescued. The minnesota dentist who killed a prize lion in Africa Walter Palmer touched off the global controversy. The lion was reportedly lured on to private proper thety and then shot with a bow and arrow. Officials say the hunting papers were in order. Criminal charges have been filed against a guide and land owner who helped palmer. Safety tests will be getting underway on a number of elevators in cityowned buildings lookerring for potentially deadly defects. While investigating the death of a man, inspectors discovered select elevators may have a safety problem. He was crushed two weeks ago had he tried to escape an elevator that stopped between floors. The landlords will be responsible for getting the elevators tested. Some new jersey homeowners may soon be legally allowed to represent on sites.
