eating outdoors. we could see some 70's of the north bay, '60s around the bay and into the afternoon dealer does indicate most locations getting into the 70's. a lot of warm weather on tap as we headed to the afternoon. it is expected to be the warmest day of the week. as we focus in on what is on tap you will notice a cooling trend. >>george: the warmest day of the weekend and the best day of the week on the bay bridge. the backup only reaches to between east parking lot and the 880 over crossing. it is a good ride to the bay ridge. a around the bay area we are not tracking any hot spots. it's the golden gate bridge ride is good to and from marin county. there are no problems through marin for the ride on 101 south bend. >>james: in oakland police are on the scene of an overnight shooting that happened just of a 580 near the emeryville border. will tran has details. >>will: the victim was sitting in his brand-new red camaro. it doesn't even have a license plea yet. investigators are arriving at the scene into being tight-lipped. when they got here after the shooting they went door-to- door looking for any possible witnesses. so far there have been no witnesses. the only person that might know is the victim and he is currently at the hospital still conscious. here is what investigators told us when we arrived. >> a victim was suffering a gunshot wound the speed freak killers has so far been unsuccessful says the latest find which was more than 1000 bone fragments and a well but was abandoned. investigators say knowledge of three wells could potentially contain more human remains that they have not been able to remain -- they have not been able to locate those wells. convicted killer wesley shermantine mapped out both of the wells which are less than a mile from the first well. in the meantime bounty hunter leonard the dmv have some new clues from shermantine some time very soon. the human remains uncovered in calaveras county earlier this month so far have been identified as to victims of wesley shermantine. dna tests identified the remains of 16 year-old chevy wheeler scared 25 year-old cindy better-. shermantine led bridge, traffic was nearly at a standstill. your ride on the golden gate bridge is still a good one. drive times are 6-7 minutes less than usual. the same is true for south 680 and westbound highway for the drive around the bay area with lighter than usual drive times and a good commute to the bay bridge westbound. virtually no delays coming from the nimitz. the toll plaza itself was at its worst back up towards the braise it never backed up into it. drive times have been 16-18 minutes. a little better than normal for the westbound bay bridge. it is an easy ride with a 13 minute drive time today of foster city coming out of they were. the golden gate bridge ride still looks good. the drive times are dropping once again down below 35 minutes from nevada to the golden gate. >>justine: i have an update on the power outage in oakland. almost 7000 people without power. now it is down to 100. pg&e says a wire was down at center in high street, two blocks away from interstate 580. crews washington state for whoever shot and killed a state trooper. off we have new video from the scene, the trooper had been conducting a traffic stop and radioed over to dispatch but did not check back in with dispatch if so they send out another officer to check out the scene and that is when they found the trip had been shot. he was rushed to the hospital where he died. there are several agencies looking for the suspect. a few miles away from that in washington state in eight year old girl is in critical condition after she was shot in her classroom at her elementary school. it turns out police say the gun was brought to school by a 9 year old boy. he had it in his backpack and it went off, hitting the girl in the stomach. he was taken into juvenile detention. >>mark: when we come mateo bridge, highway 92, is an easy trip with a 13 minute drive times eastbound or westbound. the golden gate bridge still looks good. we have some slowing in marin and. if a little bit of slowing to some other bay area headlines. officials at san jose state university may have to turn away qualified students. state budget cuts forced the university to hold back notices for about 3000 qualified residence. those who are turned away will have to apply at another university. >>darya: local vandals did at the church. a patrol car was stationed overnight in the parking lot just so favored keep the vandals away. so far, they have no suspects in police are investigating this as a hate crime. the state public utilities commission judge is proposing to find pg&e with a much lower penalty than previously thought. the fine for the deadly 2010 blast would be $3 million rather than the prior plan to charge them $1 million for each day of poor record- keeping. the proposal comes after a settlement was reached last year all this all still needs to be approved by the commission. >>james: two months ago a cannon ball accidentally blew through two houses in a car in dublin. the hosts of drive times through marin county on 11 southbound are dropping below 30 minutes. we did have a slow traffic for a while on the san mateo bridge westbound, once that cleared up it has been an easy ride westbound. right now there are no problems for the san mateo bridge. >>darya: our developing story we're following in the south bay in sunnyvale, a fire at a house, the house is a total loss. firefighters are on the scene right now. a family lives here, both cars were in the driveway when the fire broke out. it seems as though they are traveling. lucky for them there were not in the hall when this broken out. craig skalar is live at the scene giving us the latest on what they're of looking at as a cause for the fire. >>craig: they do not know the cause, there are more release thick that the family is in china on vacation. when you see the devastation close-up, you see just how bad it is. fire officials to tell me these things really catch fire and get going. you can see just how homemade bombs inside the car of a man pulled over for a traffic violation. police have arrested the 22 year-old after searching his car turned up 49 handmade destructive devices. each of them bigger than a firecracker. authorities also searched his home where they allegedly found that more bombs. he has now been booked at the sonoma county jail on possession of destructive devices, possession of materials to make destructive devices is the driving on a suspended license. what >>darya: from overnight there was a shooting in oakland that sense lineman to the hospital. it happened at 4:50 a.m.
