Chris had agreed to plead guilty to felony vehicular manslaughter. He and his wife were in the crosswalk at castro and market last year when the bicyclist struck and killed the 71yearold man. Police said security video taken from the tavern showed him going at good clip hitting the man straight on. Bush was subsequently charged with felony vehicular manslaughter. He pleaded guilty in change for 1,000 hours of Community Service and three years probation. Da explained it would have been a tough case if it went to trial. While we have ample evidence to file this case the way that we did, we also recognize that there were risk involved in trying the case. Reporter george said there were conflicting witnesses in the security video incon lives on whether bush ran a red ligh light. But he said the other goal was to send a mets acknowledge to buy sickist. They need to want or understand that they are held accountable to the same standard anybody else operating any other type of vehicle. I believe that we have achieved that in this case.
