We can actually see there was a line of storms bringing a little bit of some spotty showers along areas in the north bay and when were talking about the oroville area, theyre actually starting to see some spotty showers as well out near that area. But this isnt going to bring the biggest concern. These spotty showers are going to be very light, but over the next couple of hours if you fast forward through tonight, that time line is showing the arrival of that first storm system at about 2 00 a. M. , bringing with it moderate to heavy downpours and of course a lot of strong gusty winds as well. This is going to impact your morning commute as well so those moderate to heavy downpours are expected to stick around to two, three and really the 8 00 a. M. The suspect apparently confronted his ex wife right behind me here and now he is dead from an apparenty self inflicted gunshot wound. According to redwood city police, around 2 15 tuesday afternoon a 43yearold man confronted his 44yearold exwife in the parking lot of her employer here along penobscot drive. The woman apparently had a restrain order against her exhusband and refused to talk to him. According to police, the man retrieved a handgun from his truck and chased his exwife across the parking lot. They also believe that during the pursuit he fired at least one shot. The woman managed to call 911 on her cell phone and then hid. When Police Arrived on scene, they confronted the man and tried to get him to lower his weapon.
