intensive care an indication how grave the 94-year-old's condition is. abc7 news reporter katie marzullo is in the newsroom. >> one of the daughters talked to the media this and says her father is in very critical condition but is still opening his eyes and reacting to touch. we have pictures outside of the hospital where mandela has been for more than two weeks now with ag infection. there is a large crowd gathered and in this shot you can see people dancing and they are praying and bringing gifts and waiting for news. other new video of his family members arriving at the hospital including his grandchild who came outside of the hospital to collect some of the flowers and messages people have been leaving as tributes. there are reports mandela is on life support but the president will not confirm that. his granddaughter gave an interview at the hospital just this morning. she says her grandfather is in critical condition but hads he is in stable and saying it is hard to go through this in the public eye but the members of support are very comforting. >> it has given us strength to carry on. >> the president visited mandela yesterday and after that visit, he canceled his scheduled trip to mozambique a sign his health is deteriorated. and the media reports that the chapel where the body will, taken after the death has been prepared for that occasion. >> president obama
