Were not discounting what the scandal on these teams and what these people did was pretty horrible. The question remains for me what did he know and when did he know it . How much influence did he get . We know from a number of reports outside the lines that tmz has done great reporting on this. A number of people, close advisors Baltimore Ravens and nfl leaning on him basically saying give him a two game suspension. Lets not make a big deal out of this. Police now say they have questioned a person of interest. They havent named him but they say the 32yearold is seen in unreleased Surveillance Videos buying the 18yearold drinks inside a bar in charlottesville. Might have got noon car with him. So you basically row traced all of her steps from what we saw spelled out in all of the Surveillance Video. What have we come up with. Actually i started at the mcgradys pub. Thats the bar that she went to initially. She was turned away because she was under age. After she left the pub she started heading in the direction of downtown charlottesville. Thats at the point where she texts someone and says she was lost. Its very easy to get lost in that area. If you make the wrong turn, its very dark, very dimly lit. And i think thats exactly what happened. It appears as though she went to that pub to meet someone. Because you know what a lot of the students told me. They said thats not a place where students typically hang out. We talked to some students who said this area seems out of the ordinary for a College Student. Lets listen to some uva students on this. Listen. Not many People Branch out to areas like press to be. You see in this video she is completely alone. There are no cars going by. There are no people out there. And i think uva students dont just typically venture over that way. I dont think of people like being in that area at that time of night when the stores are closed and stuff. In my mind, those arent University Students Walking Around there. Those are people that were not familiar with. So perhaps lured there by this guy . Its a possibility as we know the police executed a search warrant for this guys cell phone. And the reason i believe they did that is because they believe there could have been some communication with hanna and maybe this guy prior to hannah going down to where this pub is located. So the police have been through his car, they have been through his apartment. But they didnt seem to question him very long. They certainly didnt detain him. Why . Youre exactly right, tucker. I will tell you i was at the scene yesterday when the police executed that warrant and they didnt spend a whole lot of time there. They did take a lot of evidence out of that apartment. Its like a four apartment unit. They took a lot of evidence. A lot of bags of evidence. They didnt say exactly what they took or what they got. They got a lot of information. That was six days after they disappeared. Are we confident the Charlottesville Police are competent. I believe so. The community is really in support of their Police Department and in support of the students there. So i think all of that combined together is really going to help bring this case to a close. I wanted to ask you a couple day ago there was a guy seen following her in Surveillance Video. Even creeps into one the alleyways and guess back behind her and next to her. Then he says he saw this person who is the person of interest put the arm around her and all of that. Are investigators still trying to talk to this guy . Or is he in the clear. So she went to being in an area of charlottesville that a lot of students in the area that we spoke with say is not normal for College Students to be there she had texted her friends saying she was lost leaving a party. They ended up alerting authorities that she was missing after it had been like more than 24 hours, which is unfortunate. But the police chief yesterday in charlottesville is talking about this person of interest. Here is what he has to say. People saw her with that individual in that restaurant. Videotape that you have already seen. The detective sergeant muni will talk about will do picket signs of that individual, we believe. So my point is this people saw hannah and people saw him, and people saw them together. And its entirely possible, we believe, that Hannah Graham may have gotten into his vehicle. You have the police chief jumping around telling us we know this guy took her to a bar. We he know that they met on the downtown mall in charlottesville. We know that she got in his car. We believe she went back to his apartment. Yet they dont really talk to him very long and just in his apartment for a few minutes. Why is that . Why the disconnect . Police detective we talked to said i would have held the guy. Jay watching charge or something talk to him. Took all the stuff out of his apartment. Yet, after two hours he is gone. We let him go. That appears to be the last person that had had any contact with Hannah Graham. Then he kind of stepped into the shadows into an alleyway as she walked past and then comes up next to her. Is he walking with her for a little while. You were thinking would this be a a person of interest . Police talked to him because he came forward and his story corroborates what we later saw with with person coming and putting his arm around hannah. You have got to won determine, are the police doing are they doing their job . The whole thing is so depressing. Its been seven days now. Its been seven days. You know, we want justice for this poor girl. Its so predatory. You see her in the video. Clearly drunk. Her friends say she is drunk. Stumbling around, poor girl by herself in this downtown mall. Which is interestingly enough, not far from where mcagreeds restaurant was where hanna was last seen. So all of the pieces are somewhat coming together now. So then if he lives just a block away, why would he be in a car . Apparently with Hannah Graham in it . Celebrity question. A lot of people suspect, tucker, that maybe hannah went to meet someone. There was no reason for hannah to be down in that area unless maybe she was going to meet someone. Lay of the land how far is this. University is 7 and a half miles actually from the downtown area. But from this guy lived and from mcgradys restaurant is its only about five miles. Its a good walk if she, in fact, walked that amount of space. But the thing is, this guy did not live far from where the mall is. The question is did he drive there or how did even hannah get downtown . Thats what a lot of her friends were asking yesterday. At love students on campus, they have been talking to reporters and they say its all a bit troubling and bizarre because this is not a typical area where students hang out. Listen. What the police are probably doing is utilizing a strategy whereby what they want to do is make sure that when they do decide to place this guy under arrest. They want to be able to hold him. Could they arrest him now . Probably so. There is probable cause. But, if you arrest this guy now, he will probably get a low bond based on the amount of evidence that they had. If they hold off and get more evidence such as today they are going to be trying to gather more evidence and then depending upon the strength of the evidence will determine whether or not this guy gets. Assume this guy probably did it a number of other young women who have disappeared around charlottesville over the past five years. Have they ruled out a serial killer. They havent necessarily ruled that out, tucker. What they have done is they are trying to see if there is a connection between any of these cases. The case that everybody is thinking about, of course, is Morgan Harrington that died back in 2009. You know, not far actually from the area where hannah disappeared from. Its always been mandatory to fill in the blank. This is the form 4473. When you buy a gun from the dealer have to fill out. Always had the question of race in it. And it used to be that you could just fill it in yourself. Hand right little boxes. What changed in 2012 in the Obama Administration is one of the things is they took out the box other. So if you didnt want to give your race to the federal government buying a gun, if you felt there is no need, to you are exercising your constitutional right as you said earlier, you didnt have to. They also changed box, another box. One is also are you latino or not, are you hispanic or not, and those are two separate boxes. What happened is very quietly this happened and now what the gun dealers have to do is they have to make sure that you fill out all those blanks. Now, of course, a lot of gun owners, im one, you are one, feel that why does the government need to know my race or ethnicity to buy a gun . What Law Enforcement reason is there for doing that . Right. Or for any reason for that matter. Its a completely creepy out of bounds question thats nobody business. Are they going to give you a blood test like has anybody challenged the notion that its governments business what race you are . Okay, well, tucker, i dont have enough money to bail you out of federal prison when you go lie on this form and say you are American Indian. If you would lie on this form, thats the only thing. Thats actually one of the bigger issues here this is a background check that the Obama Administration wants so badly to have every gun go through because they say that will some you how prevent gun crime. Well, criminals arent filling out forms before they buy their guns but lying on the form is the crime. Thats what you are doing. Perjury. But the Obama Administration isnt pursuing it. Certainly the companionship that a dog provides we all know those of us that are dog owners. These dogs are taught to do things to increase independence and enhance them. Somebody injured, for example, a veteran injured in the line of duty, may not may be using a wheelchair. May bousing crutches. May be difficulty picking things up that they dropped. Turning lies on and off. Opening and closing doors. The dogs are trained to do august of that for them. Instead of having to rely on somebody else, they can become selfreliant smplely by turning to their dog and asking their dog to do something. Anna and i are chronic dog touchers. Service dog go with probably adult or child with a disability or could be a veteran who has been injured in service. And she will be taught to do things like retrieving. So, for example, if i drop something and unable to pick it up or jason could do it, jason, get. That a boy. Good man. Good boy. Good boy good job. Do you ever have concerns about people bringing this animals that might look like a Service Animal or companion dog with the blue leash . We have done reports on that. Where its making it harder for people who actually need these dogs with them at their side 24 hours. Absolutely. Its a huge huge problem. There are a lot of different dogs, different breeds that can do this sort of work. They have to have the right temperament and socialization in order to be appropriate in public. A coalition of the five sheriffs organizations released this position paper basically calling on the federal government to make some changes. What did you ask for . We asked for the federal government to work in partnership with the sheriffs along the border. And throughout the United States. Because this problem does not stop at the border. The program came together through the catalyst with sheriff andy louder back with the Sheriffs Association of texas. He put together members of the national Sheriffs Association, the Western State Sheriffs Association. The Southwestern Border Sheriffs Coalition and the texas border sheriffs coalition. And we provided not only a statement to the problem as seen by con ken us is of the sheriffs but we provided solutions for that problem. Okay. Among the solutions that you are proposing no amnesty. If you get bogged down by the numbers you can also look at how things are described. For example,s this a Crispy Chicken salad. The word crispy usually indicates its fried. Breaded and fried. So actually this salad has double the amount of fat as a plain cheeseburger. And a lot of people, Burger Lovers are rejoicing this morning. You could actually do the salad in a healthier way if you didnt do the crispy, right . Sure. They offer the grilled chicken option. Thats a pretty decent option, about 400 calories, not much fat and its pretty filling. If youre going to do the salad, dont do the crispy. Or go ahead and eat the burger. If you love a burger, go with the single patty. Its not all or nothing. You dont have to get the triple with the mcrib on top or whatever. Lets go to taco bell. How about the salad there there. Some people order a salad because they think it will be less carbohydrate, but this is a taco shell which i dont see much salad. Yeah. More chips than salad. More chips, more shell. This has the same amount of carbohydrate in three buns. So youre kind of, you know, doing yourself a disservice by ordering that unless you just eat the salled lad and leave the taco shell to itself. Something else about a salad is its not restrained by the portion of a wrap or a sandwich bun so in general people can just load stuff up on a salad, right, and add calories and fat, whereas a bun or a wrap offers builtin portion control. Right . So a great option would be, you know, try a burrito, maybe remove little bit of the wrap if youre trying to cut carbs. They also talk about al fresco options, which removes the cheese and the sour cream and stuff that adds a lot of side calories to your meal. Adds a lot of that fresco sauce, which is just a salsa and very tasty. Totally. And now onto wendys. This Crispy Chicken salad. Same kind of deal, right . Crispy chicken salad, crispy c word to look out is cesar, that dressing loaded with a lot of fat. Luckily they provide it on the side. Reporter well, as far as police are telling us right now, they believe that man was last seen with her at a restaurant nearby the pedestrian mall in downtown charlottesville. And in the couple of minutes before that, they believe that he put his arm around her a he came up to Hannah Graham there on the mall. Seven days after Hannah Graham disappeared, still no sign of her, and theres 1,100 or so people who are gathering at the local gym here for the uva sports arena to try and have a massive search party that theyre going to go out and look for any clues. The story has changed so drastically in the past 24 hours. Police know who this person of interest are black male, 32 years old, deadlocks, wearing white as you can see, they have searched his car, they have searched his apartment, but they say they do not have enough evidence yet to make an arrest in this case. And yesterday the police chief made a passionate plea for more witnesses to come forward. This press conference and every press conference here after is about one thing and one thing only, and that is finding hannah. Everyone within the sound of my voice has that responsibility. If you live in the city of charlottesville, if you attend the university of virginia, if that young lady touched your life in any way, you have the responsibility to help us find her. And so many people who didnt know her say that they do feel that responsibility to come out and find her. It has now been one week exactly since she vanishes. A lot of the searchers we have talked to today say they are scared about what they might find in this case. On the other hand, i talked to a number of young women who are out here who said, well, this could have very easily been us. We walk the same streets every night. And if we disappeared, we would want someone out searching for us and thats why were going to spend our saturday doing that. Police will be van cacanvassing businesses looking for more surveillance tape, cell phone records to see if they cant get enough evidence about this person of interest to try and make an arrest in the case. So many problems down there at the border. Earlier on the show we talked to donald ray, the executive director down there, the Texas Border Sheriffs Association. And he says its gotten so out of hand, yes, there are some good news signs right now that in june we had 450 kids coming across the border just about every day in june. Its dropped down to about 5 50. He says but this could be a seasonal thing. We dont know when its going to come back. Right now the problem is the sheriffs are basically having to ion officials and border officials down there instead of doing their job, which is to take care of their community and the safety there. Well, they cant be very bright if theyre still communicating on cell phones. As everybody in the world knows thats not a good idea. How do we know about this . Where did this information come from . Well, oftentimes, one of the things that we rely on especially today is opensouers intelligence, right, so thats things like facebook, twitter. These individuals arent thigh shie about sharing their thoughts. And, you know, oversharing or tmi as they would say, its a trend among millennials and that extend as well to millennials that might be terrorists or terrorist sympathizers. So the world has been following this series of youtube videos released by islamic state, isis, isil, whatever were calling them, and theyre very sophisticated and shocking. What is the aim in your view . Are they trying to prevent the United States from committing Ground Troops to syria and iraq or do they want us to . Thats a great question. For all the talk of martyrdom, this group is aware that usair strikes are really going to jam up their overall plan of establishing this caliphate, so i think the goal is well, its multifold. One is to try to intimidate the American Public and to the extent that the American Public can influence the administration. Two its a recruiting tool, right, for other radicalized, likemind individuals to come and join the group. I say theres a lot of talk that weve never seen anything like a group like isis before, which i think is probably an mauz overstatement. So kids, maybe theyre going to a friends house, being supervised by the parents and not getting in the car drive bug there is some underage drinking going on. A new ordinance would make it okay for police to show up without a warrant and search a parents home without a washt if they suspect underage drinking is going on there. What do you think . Last time i checked with the United States of america where we have a constitution with a Fourth Amendment that protects us with being searched without a warrant. I think this is a slippery slope to a napny state and i am completely against it. I was talking to a bunch of women about this last yigt, and what was very interesting was, one, its fearful kids make mistake, right. They make mistake, they drink un condone underage drinking in any way. However, off teenager, they have one bad night or they make one wrong mistake and now the police are involved. I think what parents are concerned with is that its really of course the teenagers get in trouble but its them that would be in trouble. Right. And they would be arrested. And lets say you are doing great as a parent to tell your children you can drink under age and youre setting the tone for your home, but what about when that friend of the childs is coming in into your home and theyre sneaking it in a water bottle lets say that you said theres no drinking in my home tonight, you can be here, thats what concerns me and thats what i think would be concerning other parents is that other children in the neighborhood drinking and you said youre not allowed and now thats a big issue.
