LOCK HAVEN — The state liquor store in downtown Lock Haven is moving.
The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board on Wednesday voted unanimously to move the Fine Wine and Good Spirits Store at 137 E. Main St. to Clinton Plaza, Clinton County Economic Partnership Executive Director Michael Flanagan confirmed.
Flanagan said he listened to the PLCB meeting via a telephone conference call and the vote to move the store was unanimous with all three board members — chairman Tim Holden, Mike Negra and Mary Isenhour — approving the action.
“The store will relocate to the former CVS storefront in Clinton Plaza, hopefully by the end of the year,” Flanagan said. He said there are contracts to be signed and renovations to be completed before the move.
