HONOR — Among the honors former Jefferson County Juvenile and Probate Judge Sam Kerr received after his retirement was having his portrait placed in his former courtroom. Among those on hand when the portrait was unveiled on Aug. 25, 2017, were, from left, current Judge Joseph Corabi; Kerr and his wife, Emily; Fred Abdalla Jr., chief probation officer; Frank Noble, court magistrate; and Joseph Colabella, court administrator. Kerr died Jan. 15 at the age of 80.
