The Robertson County Board of Education extended the "Stand up-mask up" policy through the 12th grade in a unanimous vote Monday.
All students through the 12th grade will be under the “Stand Up-Mask Up” policy until further notice, effective immediately, schools officials said.
Masks are still required in school, but they may be removed once students are in class and seated, Director of Robertson County Schools Chris Causey explained in a phone call to parents Tuesday.
Faculty and staff are included in the "Stand up-mask up" policy.
The board also voted for masks to be worn voluntarily when students and staff are outdoors, however, masks are still currently required on the school bus at this time.
