Richmond educators share favorite holiday memories

One of the Bartels family traditions around the holiday season is to search for that perfect Christmas tree. Each year we spend the day going to varies local tree farms to find our perfect tree. This picture is from last year’s search. We wish everyone a merry Christmas and a happy new year. Happy holidays to all, the Bartels family.

Some of my favorite holiday memories come from my time in schools. The excitement in the air in a school during the holiday season is truly palatable and surely will be missed this with virtual learning this year. As a parent, in class holiday parties are some of the first times I get to see my children interact with all their peers in the school setting. On top of that, it never ceases to amaze me how my children’s teachers can design educational games that tie into the holiday spirit.
