Last winter, cost estimates to improve cabling, switches and other digital hardware at the three schools totaled $1.3 million. But bids came in at $592,000 for Hanover High School and Richmond Middle School, $165,000 for Hanover’s Ray School, and $142,000 for Norwich’s Marion Cross School, for a total cost of a little more than $899,000.
